Is Tom Green likely to benefit from the Josh Kelly injury? or will that slow him down?
I don't think it affects Green much however I think it does help Cognilio who has been drifting forward and bit more in recent weeks.
Don’t think it helps either all that much. Green plays inside almost exclusively. Kelly was sharing his time between CBA’s and a wing role. Cogs attended 89%, so won’t help him at all. Probably ends up helping a Rowston or Angwin type.

I like the Redman trade. I've seen Ridley's name a few times but IIRC Redman's deviation in SC scoring in wins and losses is pretty significant and I expect Essendon will come home strong with an easy run home.
Yes, this is my main reason for bringing him in. He also seems to be taking Ridley's kick ins lately.
A lot of Redman's lower scores this year were when Laverde went down and then missed a week. Then Ridley was concussed and missed a week. But we now have Baldwin playing the key defender role which is freeing Redman up to play intercept/rebound.

Starting to wonder whether it's even worth upgrading into Steele a week before his bye. May sound kinda mad but have a bit of Rowell buyers regret after seeing Laird pump out a 148 on the weekend, he's now only 40k more which feels like a clear 10+ PPG in Laird's favour from here.

Is Simpson/Rowell > Fyfe/Laird a madness?

Rowell has a BE of 66 while Laird has a BE of 99. Think you can potentially wait a week to see what happens there and shouldn't cost you too much in dollars or points.

With Simpson I am personally holding (if he is selected) and will hold through the byes to help with coverage given he has such an advantageous bye round.

Maybe Cincotta to Fyfe by swinging Mitchell back if you're that keen on Fyfe.

find another way there. Rowell helps through the byes whereas esava at R3 is more limited.

Esava nearly maxed out, may be better to go to mcandrew r13 and upgrade another rookie to Laird.

Esava > McAndrew + Simpson > Steele was my first instinct for trades this week. Can get there with just $200 spare.
Two R12 players to two donuts next week. Appreciate Steele value although agree Laird looks the one to get.

No easy solution. McAndrew may not be playing R13 so he is a must wait in my view, does Hickey recover. Two north rookies on bubble next week too. Who will ford go for if he has another big score, maybe cincotta.

Esava will go R13 for mcandrew regardless if he is topped out, yet if not he will be handy over byes.

Current premos I’m wanting to fill my last rookies spots (excluding Sheezel and Ashcroft):

Defence: Dawson, Sicily/Sinclair
Mid: Laird/Merrett, Petracca

Not worrying about the fwd line just yet as I only have 1 spot left and waiting on DPP. I can realistically get any two of the above players this week, at the moment I’m thinking Sicily and Merrett and then the rest after their byes potentially. Thoughts on the targets and alternatives?

Turning most of my attention to league now and with an easy win in my h2h this week, tempted to wait on Oliver (given it's best 18 between rounds 12-15) and hopefully squeak by without him during those weeks.

Out: W Phillips, A Davey, N Long
In: J Sinclair, G Wardlaw, E Ford

Gone early on the north boys, but can't see then moving out of the 22 any time soon.

Annoying thing about Oliver is I broke the Bank 2 rounds ago to trade him in.

Still no idea what to do , if I hold he probably misses 3+ , if I trade he probably misses 1 and returns

Can't see how I get him back in if I do trade him in , still 10 games after their Bye.

Maybe :-

Oliver - > Laird

Wilmot - > Downgrade on his Bye

Then milk Humphreys & Mitchell as much as possible before upgrading them.

Mitchell is basically carrying my bench , the rest have a slight pulse if any at all

Does anyone know whether or not Weddle had a change of role on the weekend? His heat map looks like he was pushing a lot further forward of centre against WCE or was it just WCE not applying pressure?
