On a side note, will be running a 100yard dash like last year, to determine the draft/pick order

Whoever finishes first = first pick. Snake draft as usual

Redraft:
Was thinking to keep # of players (on field) the same as last year, but reduce the bench by 1 (6 to 5) in order to keep more players available for waiver in the waiver pool

If it goes as well as last year with everyone trying to keep things moving - I like it.
You get a bit of time to consider your picks.
Yeah it definitely helped when I had 6am starts & couldn't get to my phone until around lunch time. Looks like we will have loads of time to finish the draft seeing as if everyone pretty much has re-signed up for this year (y)

For reasons @Rupert has mentioned personally I prefer a long draft (it’s currently at 12 hours paused between 12-5am, but I’m happy to change it if guys would prefer it short). I think it pushes the guys to be 100% committed to their picks & allows a bit more flexibility with time / availability around work/life schedules for everyone

Also from memory we changed the date/time twice before we went the long option)

As long as everyone has notifications on, I think we won’t need 8-12hours of the max duration per pick

Happy to put it up for a vote though, honestly

I reckon it should go like last year: fast at the start when everyone is pretty sure of their options, slow later when we're scratching.
Although, I do think we need to start at least two weeks out from the first game to make sure we finish in time.

I'd prefer one less flex spot to achieve the same outcome. Pretty tough during the byes.

For the above teams which do not have a SCS member currently tagged:
Fletchertopper= @American Doggie
Cavalier Roundhead= @Rupert
Magic KD= @Kennedy
We officially have all 12 coaches back for the 2nd year of the NFL SCS Redraft league (via sleeper)

I will do a 100 yard dash tonight (will attach a link in sleeper & here), and announce the draft order accordingly

Look forward to another fun season!

Divisions & Scheduling format is carried across from last year:

Divisions split via draft order (same as last year). 1-4, 5-8, 9-12 (ignore the [#])

Play each division opposition twice (3x2), and everyone else once (8x1), resulting in a 14 game schedule prior to playo***. Playo*** is split 6/6 (top 6, bottom 6)

Hold on, I’m picking 2nd again?!

Honestly the biggest win for me was somehow getting Kelce in the 2nd round last year. Complete fluke and I don’t expect that to happen again.
