I very well may end up with a DPP in my mids. Doesn’t seem as big a deal this year with only 2 or 3 players on every line being clear must haves.
I agree with this. I may end up in a similar position in DT, where it would be even less typical.

I would agree but Jake Kelly is back in this week and Ridley's scoring completely drops off when they're both in the team
That is true, but it shouldn't be. On paper Kelly should free up Ridley for even more intercept marks and attacking - guess we'll see. The other thing is that Laverde had also been out when Ridley was forced to play more of a lockdown role. Hind has also been dropped so you'd think they'll be looking for back half attack from Rids and Redman.

1- Ziebell, Walsh and Mills with 3 trades left
2- Laird, Mills, someone under 450k any position 2 Trades Left
It depends a bit on the player under 450k, but unless they’re really attractive, I’d go with option 1. Ziebell benefits from Hall being out of the side, and Walsh is a quality player who could prove to be a savvy pickup if he gets back close to his best.

Laird is a gun, but if he forces you into a compromised second pick, and especially if he means you need to use your 3rd last trade, I’m not sure he’s worth it.

Depends a lot on your side, and who that 450K person is. I'd probably go option 1 with the extra trade, but think there are better choices than Ziebell (assuming this option means you are holding onto him rather than trading him in though).

If you let Mills have one-two more games and his price comes down, that 450k player goes up a bit, Cripps is the man.

Laird and Cripps vs Ziebel and Walsh.......I would go the former

Never thought I'd say this is a tough one. Clarry's injury has been decently documented at this point and seems to keep hitting hurdles during his rehab. There's a chance he comes back undercooked and what that looks like, we have no idea. If you pick him, you are taking a gamble on his health/fitness for the next 9 rounds. For a guy who has been a juggernaut his entire career, it is a bit of a concern he has reinjured his hamstring. However, if he is named this week, I will likely pick him for what it's worth.

Taranto is having the best season of his career so far and doesn't look like stopping. His floor looks to be pretty high with his lowest score being a 90 and our run home is decent. Taranto also has DPP which might be enticing, depending on what cover you have/swinging him mid or forward.

TL;DR if you think Oliver can do 120+ from here (despite the hammy issues), pick him. Taranto has averaged 120 so far and looks set to continue on that path if you want the "safer" alternative based on the year.
