Injuries, suspensions, restings seemed to have increased since I first started.

If they added a rule that let you put players out of position at a 30% penalty to their final score, it would be better than all these zeroes.

Imagine a real AFL team fielding 21 players, but leaving a defender in the VFL because they already selected too many...

Wouldn’t mind AFL adopting the reserve system that NRL SC has. Would help resolve a lot of people’s issues.

Really thought at the start of the year that 36 trades was overkill....

I think that is the problem most are having this year, though 36 was overkill (and it was) and did crazy sideways trades early as in why not got loads of trades. Some of the sideways trades I read earlier in the year were just nuts.

People will readjust next year because they will remember the time we are having now with a fair few rounds to go,

Back in the old days you really only traded anyone when absolutely necessary.
Also the starting squad selection was waaaay more important
