Have re-created The Super League 20. Cut-off was tight this season at 117.
Have sent invites to some who ranked above that.
If all accept their invites, then I'll have to cull.
My experience is that some decline, so cut-off will likely be around 142.

Anyone game to start without Haaland?

Luckily it didn’t impact my rank considerably last season but currently I am unwilling to go down that path again. Need to be confident that the cash is being put to better use either on other lines or up forward and not that confident with the alternatives nor captaincy choices. Would prefer to go cheap down back (GK and Def) either from promoted teams or those that could capitalise on nice early fixtures to then be flicked once the premiums present themselves.

If opting to go without Haaland, then make sure to have plans in place if he is the priority trade in target and back up plans in case your starters are injured or cash generators do not go to plan, with a boost or two to be used early to compensate, etc.

Hope Maatsen goes back to BUR. Top option if he's a regular starter.

Diaby a good pick too but might have to share time with Bailey at the start.
Could be good though as that will knock his price down and he can be a target for a one down, one up, later.

One for the future. Saw lots of sub appearances. Will see much more time now he's a year older and NUF are in UCL and need to rotate, but I think he'll still be used as a sub.

Good win from the Matildas, if they keep playing like that, they can beat anyone. Canada are quite a strong side (#7 in the world rankings) and they got completely outplayed. It wasn't far off 6-0, with a goal ruled out for off side and a shot hitting the woodwork.
