Thought I might as well share my current drafts for both FPL and RDT.

FPL: GK - Onana locked in. Areola seems the best chance of starting out of the 4.0m options. If it looks like he won't start, I'll flick him for another 4.0m GK as Areola would likely drop to 3.9m.
DEF - Gabriel is locked in, as is Estupinan. Stones and Chilwell look to have nice attacking roles and could get some big returns. Chilwell will be benched for the Liverpool fixture in GW1. I like Kabore as my 4.0m DEF option.
MID - I want 3 ARS and after Jesus' injury, Saka and Odegaard are pretty simple choices for me. I think Bruno has a big season. Not as confident in Rashford but with his early fixtures, I'll jump on him as well. I like Mbeumo best of the 6.5m MIDs medium-term, but Mitoma short-term. Planning on starting Mitoma and flipping him to either Mbeumo or Eze before GW4.
FWD - Haaland obviously locked in. I've gone for Wissa as my second forward. I think he could be a nice differential to start. No confidence in any of the 4.5m FWD options, Archer in at this stage.

0.5m ITB. Very template apart from Wissa and to an extent Chilwell. 12 on-field options allow me to bench someone who has a bad fixture.

RDT: GK - Both should perform much better than their price tag suggests.
DEF - Stones and Chilwell for the same reasons as FPL. Torres should make some coin and be a solid on-field option. Hopefully Udogie starts. Don't love the pick but going with the masses on this one. Ahmedhodzic is my favourite at his price range.
MID - Saka and Bruno both premiums with good early fixtures. Hoping Diaby can get some returns early and score better than the more popular picks in Mount and Szoboszlai. Wissa is a no-brainer. Tonali should start and hopefully get some returns, terrible early fixtures though.
FWD - Haaland of course is there. Nkunku should prove to be big value if his injury is confirmed to be not serious. Richarlison will be ridiculous value if Kane leaves. If not, I'll either hold and hope for some bench returns or go to Mudryk or one of the Everton boys at 3.75m.

90,000 ITB. I haven't played before so should be fun.

Thanks. I am looking for a fast start with Brighton’s early draw, so might take a punt on whoever starts. Sounds like Welbeck is doing OK in preseason which swayed me to him. It is the type of punt that will most likely be my undoing!
Welbeck is a worse version of C. Wilson. Good when fit, but breaks down quickly. Don't be fooled by pre-season. He's had a rest, but likely won't last too long. No need to go there. With 5 subs, he'll be managed and will come off early. They need him to be fit to cover European games this season.

But as a punt, he still isn't worth it. If he does well against Luton, you get one price rise after GW3. Then the good game drops off the cycle, and BRI have NEW & MAN. I just don't see any risk reward on him. So many other better options at that price.

I think you should look at a CHE attacker for F2. Nkunku, Jackson or Sterling.

I also recommend a captain loop. Haaland doesn't always fire.

FPL Draft #5,312,749. Big at the back, or big on attack?

So many great potential 4.5s. Pau, Botman, AWB, Colwill. But then so many starting 4.0s (too many to list).
But we can only start 3 at the back, and without European games, there shouldn't be rotation. Happy to go big and have fillers cover.

But then there's also so many great 5.0-5.5 options from big teams with good early runs.
But what to do with the extra cash? KDB not 100% and Mo just seems too far away ATM with his hefty price tag.

Premium GKs rarely are the best value in FPL. Although they keep more CS, they rarely get save pts, and thus bonus too.
Get a 4.5 GK from a mid table team, one that will get quite a few CS, saves and bonus. Last season it was Raya.
If Flekken will replace him, he's likely the best option to go for.

Don't need 4 decent DEF. 3 decent, a 4.5 cover, and a 4.0 starter is probably the best.

Use the extra units saved on DEF to upgrade Tonali to a more attacking player, as he's a holding MID.
Given NEW early run, he's more likely to get cards than a goal involvement.

DCL is also too injury prone. There's quite a few decent 6.5s around. Even some 5.5s better than him.

With your DT, I think the only ones to look out for are Colwill, Mount and Rashford.

Colwill is good, but by the time we see a price rise, Badiashile might be fit again, and the recently signed Disasi could be ready to be integrated also. Then there's Thiago.

Dunno what will happen to Mount. United have so many options.
IMO, get Bruno in that position, and a CHE FOR from Nkunku, Sterling or Jackson for Rashford.
Bruno is one of the best in this game, and you get some diversity.
If CHE surprise and start scoring, you have a chance to be in on the action.
Given they're all similarly priced, you can also jump between the three CHE FOR with one transfer if you chase the cash cow.

Mudryk is another with uncertainty, but he's a place holder. Danjuma of EVE is a decent option, and slightly cheaper.

Cheers for that. I'll take all your comments into consideration and play around with it a bit.

Would really like some of these transfers to get sorted asap. Kane in particular, but even the Man City defence.

Foden was well in my DT and FPL plans, might have to drop him now.
