Only looking in this thread because I know the NBA starts this week. I would be interested in having a crack at the draft version. Would I be correct in assuming it is a little less time consuming than the “classic“ version?

Maybe post something in the NBL thread with a bit of an outline about what’s involved. This may shake out a few more.

Depends how you view it, the classic RDT version only requires you to look once a week

The sleeper (draft) arguably requires on average 3-4 looks/adjustments per week, as you try to aim to ‘lock in’ the highest score for any of your players each week. Hence it evens the playing field for teams/players playing a different number of games per week

That just feels like an unlimited invitation for the fantasy gods to smack you in the mouth and my dental bill is already way too high in that regard. An option where you just get the highest scoring game from you player each week would be interesting but not super keen on this variation.

Here's Sleeper's quick summary video for NBA Lock In. Interesting format, rather than tallying a player's full week performance, you have the option to choose which game score you want to "lock in" for the week.

I just need to brush up on the scoring system, but I'm in regardless.

We will have to agree to disagree on that. It feels to me like having to make a captain's loophole decision on every player and given my record in that regard, that feels like a special kind of torture.

Apologies for expressing an interest and now rescinding it but I didn't realise this is what it was about. I won't be a starter.

Okay, have done some research around the fixture, and come back with the following v2. Have some concerns around Thompson from Houston, Miller, and Kuminga starting though. Can anyone give me some reassurance against a NBA site which shows them not in the starting lineups.

Can confirm Kuminga is not a starter on the GSW team
