I gave up at 7/91 last night.

As soon as Stoin went out, I watched an episode of 'The Fall of the House of Usher', then when that finished I saw we were 7fa with Maxi on 60 something so decided I would watch until Maxi went out. Next minute it was 4am and we had won!
Incredible victory! I fell asleep when all seemed hopeless, woke up with 10 overs to go when Maxwell was on 147, pressed record and went back to sleep and just watched how it unfolded now. Thought I'd seen it all in Cricket but that was something else!

If it was any other team than Pakistan I would say no hope
A win for Pakistan over England in their last group stage game on Saturday (November 11) will take them on par with New Zealand on points but the task of usurping their NRR looks nearly impossible. As it stands, New Zealand's NRR is +0.743 while Pakistan have +0.036.
- Limit England to 13 if they score 300 batting first.
- Limit England to 62 if they score 350.
- Limit England to 112 if they score 400.
Afghanistan need to beat South Africa on Friday by 439 runs (if they score 500 batting first) to surpass New Zealand's NRR.

Maybe put an asterisk next to this for now. Iām pretty certain it was presented like this on Fox, but the second figure looks a bit high given the indidivudal bowlersā averages.
Zampa is averaging 19 though, and the next best Aussie seems to be Hazlewood at 31, with the other regular bowlers at 40+.

Separately, was it Madushanka that you picked to kill it this tournament? I hadnāt even heard of him, but heās topping the wicket tally.
