Clay Hall is a star, but will he get into the best 22 or is this year a development year with the subs vest.? WCE actually have a few options for the bench this year. I see lots of good young athletes on the list.

Also not much noise on Hough, i am very interested as to who gets the Hurn Role.? Who is your preference for this role in the WCE Team.? I did see he started with last years prefered DEF line in the last Sim match, which raised my eybrows.

Witherden any chance of making your starting team, mate? Any chance of him averaging 100+ do you think?

Depending on the rookie landscape, I may require a 470k defender at D4. Witherden firmly in my sights at that price point.

Certainly worthy of consideration, 100+ is possible but as a player (nothing to do SC wise) he frustrates me with his defensive deficiencies & decision making along with being a tad slow. His actual kicking technique is good but I think he overrates his abilities/ too many turnovers.
One to watch in preseason games to see if improvements have been made.

My first recollection of the 10kg preseason was Jack Newnes in his St Kilda heyday 🤣. Just looked at his career numbers and he never cracked a 90 avg.

Hough does actually look like he has put on about 20kg🤣

Ken also thinks winning finals isn't that important because finals are scary and its a tough competition.

Someone has to lose and who wants the sugar hit of playing finals compared to the sugar hit of winning thirteen meaningless games in a row to receive a contract extension from the gullible saps?

Off season acquisitions once again the missing pieces of the puzzle so hopefully that means Sweet can make some sweet, sweet cash.

Risk attached to Williams too.

However the 3 years and 65k difference is significant.

Plus playing on a half-back flank versus the midfield is generally a lot less taxing on the body.

Counter point - one of them is Nat Fyfe and the other is Zac Williams....

Gut feel is a fully fit Soldo is ahead but I hope to be proven wrong, pretty normal to slowly build a rucks matchplay post finger surgery as they can still do everything fitness wise.
