Great team mate, no real fires to put out and could save some trades this week. However if you feel like this guy is finding form again and won’t be picked for origin, moving Brown to halfback & trading Brooks to C Walker might be a nice POD play

Thanks for the reply cheerio. Any thoughts on trading Brooks to a someone like weekes/wishart? Low BE and would get me some money in the bank?

Obviously, playing a plath/weekes combo isn't the most ideal. I will have a look at walker for sure but wanting to get your thoughts on the above?

Tough one that, both locked in till Munster/Fogarty return which is still a long way away. Both with good draws and a solid 30-35 point base. If I had to pick one, I'd probably prefer Wishart with his 5/8 & halfback flexibility and his higher ceiling playing in a better attacking team. Cash wise, I wouldn't expect too much of a price rise from either of them, probably max 100k unless they have a run of huge games.

Up 826 spots to 1362 overall. Slowly climbing over the last 6 weeks.

Trades
Cleary > D Brown locked in

Munster > Wishart at the moment to create bulk cash for a potential 1 trade Jacob Gagai > Manu trade next week. Obviously depends on how serious the Munster injury is, but considering it’s a reaggravation of an ongoing groin issue…

Think I’m going to have to let Talagi / Fa’alogo go. CTWs are Young, Garrick, Lomax, Holmes, Iro, Armstrong and Gagai. So can’t really get Manu next week when he’s playing FB. No flexibility to move to CTW with Edwards and Drinkwater.

Hopefully can save 2 trades next week with just the Gagai to Manu move.

Edit: going to go Jack Cole over Wishart pending teams as they will sit outside 17 this week. Cole provides an extra number for round 13 and will definitely allow me to go Gagai > Manu next week.
Turns out I miscalculated - the 2nd player I bring in will be my 17th player this week Unless I want to play Gagai, Hughes, Willison or Salmon. Likely just be an extremely defensive move and go Gagai > Talagi.

Worry about how I’m going to get Joey Manu next week 😂 Holmes / Iro might get sacrificed. close watch on Pahulu. If he gets 35-40 minutes as Joliffes replacement I’ll likely downgrade Williston to him in round 13 to free up the 150k cash likely required to go Val to Manu. Otherwise I will just have to cash in Munster to a Wishart or Luai type a week early (Assuming he misses Origin)

Was going to make no trades this week but looked ahead to my r14 numbers and things are pretty tight with the Byes & potential origin restings. Not too much cash itb but might do May > Fa'alogo & Chan > Luki for the extra depth and r14 numbers.
Really like May to Fa'alogo only downer is he is not playing RD13 but you can work on that next week subject to SoO Team announcement (y)

Any thoughts on captaincy this week?
Young VC into Hynes C
Lots of options this week
VCs - Kiraz, Lomax, Drinkwater, Holmes, Garrick, Fa'alogo, Young, Manu
Cs - Hynes, Edwards, Mitchell, Talagi, Walsh, Fifita, Isaako, CNK
Likely to default to Hynes as C. Can move Brailey or Pearce-Paul onfield to take an AE at the expense of Api or Ford. Burton the only option that plays before Api and unfortunately my VC Drinkwater plays at the same time as West Tigers.

Three trades next round and best 13 could allow Strange down to Armstrong since he still has cash to make or downgrades elsewhere for a Manu/Kiraz type. Potentially Crichton could be downgraded to allow cash to be reinvested on other lines for premiums.

As for the above, who would be the higher priority between Kiraz and Katoa? Going Kiraz likely locks me out of any cheap CTW for the time being (if I still wish to target Manu) as it would be too early to trade Talagi and Iro. No bye next round for Kiraz whereas Katoa will miss. Feel the 2RF position is more in need of the upgrade as I will look to grab Fifita during/post Origin.

For sure! What are you leaning more into?

A lot of captaincy options. Leaning dbags, hynes or a roosters player
Personally leaning towards VC Drinky C Fifita. I fancy Drinky against that inexperienced Tigers backline & Fifita should be a safe 60-70 minimum. Might even straight C Drinky tbh. Seems like the best matchup in my team.

Likely leaning to VC Edwards / Holmes into Brown Captain.

Not going Hynes because Brown is in my HB slot.
