Mustafizur Rahman, left handed bat, comes to the crease

Fizz has been given out LBW. This looks plumb but he has reviewed it. Afghanistan are celebrating already. The players are running in all directions. Rashid has sunk to his knee. Meanwhile, a review is going on. Nothing on UltraEdge.

All things considered, Afghanistan deserve to be there... but some interesting batting from Bangladesh.
Agree on all counts. Disappointing for the Aussies to fall in a hole against India last night after being in a winning position. I wish I had a dollar for ever time Stoinis goes out to the reverse sweep. He thinks he is Maxwell but he isn’t. David mistimes 3 times more shots than he hits clean at least playing for Australia. He missed so many hittable full tosses.

Very odd from Bangladesh who were in a position to make the semis themselves and didn’t seem to want to have a go at it and then Das left it way to late to go and then ultimately didn’t get a chance.

so if that was Warner's farewell apperarance

never met him in person but comes across as a right banker onfield , can't deny the record though

112 Tests 8786 Runs (5th most for Australia) @ 44.59 with 26 centuries

161 ODI's 6932 Runs (6th most for Australia) @ 45.01 with 22 centuries

110 T20I's 3277 Runs (most for Australia) @ 33.43 with 1 century

now we wait for the book to come out and see how much he actually reveals :)
Will be barely anything said in it I’m sure. I’d be more interested in seeing what he reveals when the current crop of cricketers retire as they’ll be no longer in the spotlight post international careers.

Of course, it could be all hype and he’s just trying to minimise the flak he’s copped with claiming victim over the fallout with the sandpaper saga.

I doubt the real truth will ever come out.

Hopefully McGurk gets his opportunity for the Scotland & England series at least although M Short probably deserves a long term opportunity as well in the white ball teams

Inglis surely comes in for Wade so he could be another opening option as well.

Funnily enough, I actually have! Back when I used to live in Sydney, I had a few regular poker buddies and we'd play tournaments in the pubs around UNSW - he used to play them too. (This was in 2008-9, around the time he had just burst onto the scene.) He played poker like he batted back then - I wonder if his poker game matured as much as his batting did!

Doubt I will ever meet him now.

I must admit when he first come on the scene I thought he would be a white ball wonder and quickly disappear as quickly as he arrived.

That double century for Australia A v Zimbabwe certainly changed a lot for him and gave him the confidence that he could belong as a three format player.

Only Cook , Gavaskar & G Smith have scored more Test runs as a opener than him.

Modern day great (in all formats)

Even 400 for me
Things didn't go my way from last set, changed Arshdeep to Bumrah, so Arshdeep gets 3fa, Farooqi as captain only bowled 2 overs, could have been a different story if he bowled to the tail. Had Rashid last set, then dropped him, so he gets 4fa.
The game can be challenging at times, so trying to read the play on form is quite difficult.
