Keep an eye on your loop in Tanner Brown
Thanks @Under The Dome for the Kicker Karty news (K Joshua Karty is dealing with a groin injury but is expected to play in Week 3), I will have to monitor that.
Brayden Narveson, Green Bay Kicker, $3,300,000 AVG 23 BE -28 is tempting for a Cash Cow.

Deciding whether to keep A.J. Brown, hmmm, can I rely on M. Harrison for good cover for 2 weeks? It might be wise to save a trade, but missing 2 weeks is not ideal. If Jefferson is out, then Brown will be traded out.

Hill, probably give him another chance to redeem himself. I know his new QB isn't as good as Tua Tagovailoa, but how bad is he?? I don't know.

QB C. Williams has been disappointing, surely the way to go is to trade in Darnold with a BE -51.

My Rookie RB Jaylen Wright hasn't played a game, he is not going to make money, so I will be looking at trading him out.

I mainly blame my low ranking on my poor Captain selections, Week 1 B Robinson (26) and week 2 Daniels (26).

Seibert could be another option in another week.
7/7 for a 44 on debut for Washington and scored all of their 21 points.

433, went 8-0 in league play.
Actually Captained Stroud, VC'd with Jackson, but thinking of C'ing Jackson this week

Also might use my boost this week with Samuel set to miss a couple of weeks. Not sure what Trades I'll actually make, though.

After first look at trades, I think this week will see:

Coleman > Nabers
Javonte Williams > JK Dobbins
Will leave me with $2,740,000 and, maybe most importantly, can save a boost

They look like good trades.

This 3rd round is an opportune time to use a boost trade, taking advantage of players with a high negative Break Even (BE), as this will generate funds necessary for future player upgrades.

In case you didn't know:
To locate the Break Evens, you should click on 'PLAYERS', then click the "ASSISTANT COACH" arrow pointing downwards, and choose 'BREAK EVEN' to view the players' BE.

I'd be wary of Seibert.
He played 16 games for Cleveland back in 1919.
In the next 5 years he was never again the first-choice kicker: he played only 15 games for 4 teams.
His record: XPs - 56/62; FGs - 45/56 at 20-29: 6/6; 30-39: 20/20; 40-49: 17/24: 50+: 2/6
i.e, XPs = 90.32%; FGs = 80.36%

Maybe he's improved with age; maybe this week was an outlier.
But note the distances of the FGs this week: 26, 27, 27, 29, 30, 33 and 45 yds.
Extra points are equivalent to a 33 yd FG.
So all but one of his FGs were virtual gimmes.
That's why I'm wary,

Washington can be ruthless on their kickers aswell. If he produces again this week, it'll be hard to ignore him with a 13 + 15 he goes up $2.5m.

Daniels probably runs the ball enough to get them within FG range quite often.

RD3 is the best time to use a boost, so boost away as there is no advantage in keeping it if it results in getting left behind or waiting for a rainy day that never comes.

Looks like I can double-up on break even if I do Dobbins and a Mayfield or Darnold add.

Does BE work if they're on my bench, or do they have to be in the starting lineup? I have enough $$ to swap Williams for Darnold, but don't think I'd wanna play him over Lamar or Stroud

Basically - yes.
Every player has a price increase after their 3rd game in a season.
Then every game after that; even if they are not consecutive games.
e.g. a player plays wk.1-2 then gets injured and doesn't play until wk.8. Their price will increase after their wk.8 game.
That's why it helps to start with a few lower priced players or trade in players with low BEs.
If they score well enough their price will increase quite a bit. Then you can do a one-up/one-down double trade: you trade out one player to a lesser priced player with a low BE and use the cash made to trade another player up to a premium.
I trust this is what you wanted to know?

Miami Dolphins put concussed quarterback Tua Tagovailoa on injured reserve... as he continues to weigh up his NFL future (msn.com)
Miami Dolphins put concussed quarterback Tua Tagovailoa on injured reserve... as he continues to weigh up his NFL future
Story by Ben Nagle • 2hrs

Tua Tagovailoa has been placed on injured reserve and will miss at least the next four NFL games after suffering the third concussion of his NFL career.

Tagovailoa went down after running to get a first down and then diving head-first into Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin.

By placing him on injured reserve, the quarterback will be forced to miss the next four games before the team could activate him.

Skylar Thompson expected to start this coming Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.

On Monday, the Dolphins picked up Tyler 'Snoop' Huntley off the Ravens practice squad to fill in the gap left by the injured Tagovailoa.

More to follow.

With the recent concussion to Tagovailoa - his third concussion in three seasons - many are wondering if the Dolphins signal caller will consider hanging up his pads.
ESPN's Adam Schefter previously reported that Tagovailoa would meet with neurologists this week to begin the decision-making process over whether he would hang up his shoulder pads.

However, Sunday, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that Tagovailoa has no plans to retire. He’s already seeing concussion specialists and plans to continue to do so. There remains no timetable on his return.

Tagovailoa's agents did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com's request for confirmation.

The southpaw was rocked by the third concussion of his career on Thursday night and DailyMail.com revealed on Friday that the Dolphins are considering shutting him down for the year to give him time to properly decide on his future.

Reports have indicated that the quarterback wants 'input into the severity of his latest concussion, and the cumulative effect of the ones he's suffered in the past.'

Tagovailoa was scrambling when he went head-first into Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin in the Week 2 defeat on Thursday.

After the hit, Tagovailoa's body went into the so-called 'fencing response' - an indicator of a severe brain injury.

He eventually was able to walk off the field under his own power, but was diagnosed with a concussion within six minutes of going back to the locker room. He's expected to miss significant playing time.

This is not the first time that Tagovailoa has suffered a brain injury on the playing field.

Back in the 2022 NFL season, he suffered from two separate concussions - taking an additional third hit to the head which ultimately led to major changes in the NFL's concussion protocol.

In his last year of college at the University of Alabama, Tagovailoa also suffered a concussion.

Leading health experts have advised the quarterback to consider retiring for the sake of his family and future health.

Friday morning, Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel was keen to quell talk of Tagovailoa's future: 'You're talking about his career - his career is his,' he said. 'I just wish that people would for a second hear what I'm saying, that bringing up his future is not in the best interest of him.

'So, I'm going to plead with everybody that does genuinely care that that should be the last thing on your mind.'

I would love some thoughts please.
I have LaPorta as one of my TE's. My other 2 are Bowers and McBride. Is it feasible to stash LaPorta on the bench and see how he goes this week or sell him. Did not realise was coming back from a hammy injury.
I have done trades of Williams > Arnold and Kupp > Shaheed.
I have bought in Darnold re his BE, money making factor and he is playing well.
I have bought in Shaheed as team is playing well and negative BE.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. First year playing. Had not watched an NFL game until putting my team in.:)
Also thinking of boosting Corum out for a RB.
And have $35 million in the bank
