Godwin 39 ave -21 b/e not good "in between range" value?
With my A.J. Brown sidelined, Cee Dee Lamb and Jefferson not participating fully in training, I need to consider a replacement backup player, and Godwin is the one I'm thinking of trading for.

While predicting the future is not possible, trading in the injury-prone Godwin could potentially lead to financial benefits in the short term, if traded out. However, retaining Godwin may offer valuable coverage during the Bye weeks.

I don't think Godwin is in the in-between camp.
Given his scoring and his new role - he is playing in the slot where he is at his best - his -21BE is likely to lead to a big price rise.
But, on the downside, he's up against Denver who have the best record against WRs so far - not that two games is a great sample size.

I suppose it depends on your team: do you need a top WR or do you need the cash?
If cash, then I think Jameson Williams is the best non-rookie prospect.
He's scored 43 and 23 and has a -30BE.
He was drafted #12 in 2022 so he's in his 3rd year and looking a prime break-out candidate.
Yeah, he's in the same team as Amon-Ra and Gibbs but he's seen 11 and 9 targets so he's being used.
Plus, he's effective.
If it means anything to you he is sixth in separation and ninth in route win rate: i.e. he can get open and beat his opponent.
At only $6.6m I think he's good value.

Godwin: In between price. His role and usage suggest he'll end up 15M+ at some point if he can stay healthy.
J Williams is a good in between price option, but there's that bye issue again if you also have Ra

Average is from two games and the points are lost as there is still another fifteen games to come. Whilst breakeven is negative, it should not be a large or deciding factor at his price range unless you are expecting an injury/suspension to occur soon as I gather the intention would be a long term hold rather than a quick flip and of less importance in a format with such a generous salary cap.

Potential positive touchdown regression in line this season after failing to record more than five touchdowns in a season since 2020 and with the move to the slot was a key reason I was high on him this season in both salary cap and draft given I felt others would default to the Kupp/Wilson types which could present a nice pod and worst case a quick jump off to a missed negative brekaeven player. Some nice fixtures to start too. A touchdown in both matches so far and will be interesting to see what he ends up with as a final total.

If interested, now would be the ideal time rather than paying a premium later on for the likelihood of decreased production. Between the Jameson Williams and J Chase price range, if I was a non owner, then he would be of most interest. Situational as well and depends on the degree of confidence by the coach. With $30k remaining salary and Rice, London and Wilson in the similar price range it may be another receiver that needs trading later on.

@Kazza
Nothing to add to what others have said about your trades but a suggestion:
I have found the Underdog NFL fantasy podcast one of the more helpful ones.
I particularly like their weekly review show which is sub-titled Stat's vs Film (as you can see):
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKbA6ut0U3g&ab_channel=FantasyFootballwithJosh%26Hayden

It's a discussion of every game with plenty of video to illustrate the points they make,

As long as you remember that they are talking fantasy within the context of draft competitions I think it is quite useful in helping you understand why certain players are favoured and score well.
Thank you Rupert for putting me on to these fellows. They explain themselves. They also have a few other sessions they talk about as well.

Eliminator Week 2:

View attachment 78263

Three more eliminated, four remain. I can understand picking Ravens/49ers this week, just bad luck. Probably both better teams than Chargers/Commanders but that's how this goes.
Getting cold feet on Vegas against Carolina with Dalton as quarterback so have currently opted for the Browns against the Giants. Also tried to map out the remainder of the season on this Giants and Panthers strategy in case I forget or miss a round here or there if I somehow managed to make it past the next month odd.

Raiders are definitely one team I can see losing to the Panthers.

Have traded in Dobbins but I am thinking of changing to Kamara.
Reasons being.
Dobbins is on a bye week 5. Same time as Barkley who I also have.
Has had injuries but who is to say he not be treated like 'Tommy Turbo'. Hope he doesn't get injured.
Will make some money with his BE. But that is only useful if he is being traded out.
Schedule not that great, playing the 'harder' teams.

Kamara. I am not buying because of last weeks scores. I don't think he will get the same points in the near future.
On a bye week 12. I do have Bijan Robinson on a bye at the same time but is 2 months away. Anything can happen.
Is at this stage in a 'better' team. Whether this keeps going is unknown.
Appears to be the player who is being given the ball.
Will also make money with his BE but could also be a season keeper.
Has a better schedule re games.

Thoughts please? And thank you.

im in the same boat current trades in are:
C williams > Darnold
Kupp > Godwin
Z White > Dobbins
have about $8mill left over so could go to Kamara but then its choosing who to bench out of Breece Hall/Barkley/Bijan/JT
and i already have jordan Mason sitting there!

Very happy considering Richardson (C), Pacheco and Kupp injuries and the low score from VC T Hill. Fielded Kincaid over Bowers and Philadelphia a prime example of why I usually default to the two cheapest DST as Arizona have outscored them by 32 points.:ROFLMAO:

Out: Williams, Kupp and McLaughlin
In: Darnold, Pierce and Dobbins

Pacheco to be taken care of next round.
Alternative is to delay Williams to Darnold for one more round and go Pacheco to Kamara if I would prefer to bench Mason/Dobbins for that fourth running back spot.
