Yep had him go over my side. Played a bit of SC in his younger days, apparently now at the Dees they only do a draft style fanatsy footy game.

Yeah, he said he's in the running, but that they love Dean Kent and obviously the others have a but of form and AFL experience already. Hopefully he gets up though for round 1.

Cousins doing the bolt from the cops on foot and Kerr's house was set alight i believe

This latest Cousins thing happened not far from me. Pretty sad really. He desperately needs help and there are plenty of people who want to help him... But he just doesn't want it.

Not sure what happened with Kerr's fire, He was apparently nowhere near his house when it happened but at least he is trying to get help. He Is moving down south to play country footy and coach a junior team.

Ok question(s) for people -

I have two friends coming over from the US who would like to see a game of AFL. We have narrowed it down to:
- Fri 17th (night MCG), Pies v Saints
- Sat 18th (day MCG), Blues v Bombers
- Sat 18th (night Etihad Stadium), Roos v Port
- Fri 24th (night MCG), TIgers v Demons
- Sat 25th (day MCG), Bombers v Pies

I am trying for tickets to the ANZAC Day game (have a corp contact), but not holding my breath. A game a the G is probably better than at Etihad, but I am concerned about the possibility of no crowds at the Friday night games (for an 'experience' at the G, there needs to be a reasonable crowd imo).

So that leaves the Bombers v Blues game. Providing the Bombers have a team, are there good chances of getting tickets to the game after the 31st of March (once I know if the Bombers have a team...)?

Should I aim for that game? Or do people think one of the others would be as good/better? Is Etihad as good to watch footy at as the G?

I would take them to the MCG. The Bombers vs Blues will draw a huge crowd. You want the atmosphere as much as a great game. I don't particularly care for either team but I do respect the level of passion from both sides' supporters.

But if you are get tickets for ANZAC Day that is a given. My cousins are coming down from Canberra and they have bought tickets for the game (me included). They are GWS and Port supporters and I'm obviously a dogs fan. Very excited at the importance of being 100 years since Gallipoli and I get to go :D

Yeah agree gotta be the blues v dons. Will be massive and both teams have the worst (but most entertaining) supporters in the comp.

Hey guys.

Just wondering if anybody has done their SC Draft during the last fortnight and whether they would be able to share the first few rounds of picks?

I have my draft tomorrow night so wouldn't mind seeing how some other drafts have panned out.

I did a 12 team draft over the last week or so but I cannot seem to find where the draft picks have gone. If someone can tell me where to get them from I will post them.

Sorry mate, no idea. Oz or Phil would be your best bets i reckon (if they read the gen thread)

I'm not sure as I have reserved seats for all games in Melbourne (both home and away) so haven't had to worry about it for a long time.
