A question about rep power on here... if someone gives us a reputation comment, should we PM them to say thank you? I am very thankful to everyone who has given me rep power, but unsure of whether it's common and right to send them a message of thanks...
I've always wondered that myself
Nah, just repay the favour if/when they post something that might be rep worthy. OR write them a thank you note when you rep them for rep'ing you ;)
There is no set rule or common practice. Up to yourself. I certainly don't expect a thankyou pm when I give out a rep. I generally only PM reply to a rep if I wanted to reply/comment about the comment attached to the rep they gave you.

Sometimes if the same person has also replied to your post in the thread you can simply give that post a like. Hence the like can also be used as a form of acknowledgement.

Yeah no set rules when it comes to reps. In fact, the first rule of rep club is....

On reps though, i've found them to be a nice quick little way to pass on a comment and thumbs up at the same time. That's kinda how i see them anyway.

Thanks for all the responses!

Cheers for the rep too, IDIG.

At least this wasn't a PM ;)

The Age never have reports of the night matches the following day, which is bad enough, but not to have anything about the 5:10 Gold Coast v Adelaide game is ridiculous. The workers there must have a 7:30 bed time.

I can't remember the exact times, but its because the paper gets edited in NZ so they have to finish the articles much earlier. Pretty poor if you ask me

Anyone know where to find centre bounce attendance numbers?

I occasionally tweet freako but he rarely replies. Seems to be the only person who has them, pretty unfair advantage for his fantasy teams!

How good is it going to be in the next fortnight when Cripps to Rockliff makes us nearly $100k in profit!

I was looking at that (because so many have said similar)

Rocky scores 100 in the next game: Price = $476k
Cripps scores 100 in the next game: Price = $445k

Nice position to be in, but if Cripps scores so well that he get's above Rocky / Rocky performs so badly his scores drop more - do you still bring them in?

Cripps is looking really likely to be a keeper in my team. will most likely get rocky next week for sheed or VDB

I think Cripps will be my last or 2nd last upgrade (maybe CEY as he will have missed a couple of games). I will probably go Vburg to Rocky in 2 weeks with a little help of some bank. A nice position to be in.

Cripps would have to average 115 or more to really consider as a keeper.
As good as the kid is, that is asking a lot of him so early in his career.
When to trade him for a senior midfielder that likely to be able to maintain over 115 ppg for rest of the season is where it is at for me.
The byes make it complicated. He has the bye in round 11.
At the moment his break even does not worry me. More interested in what he can score for my team whilst I'm am still working towards upgrading all lines.

I reckon Cripps will average low 90s, which is fantastic for a second year player but not close to keeper status for a mid.

Think he got a lucky 100 in SC yesterday - only in the 60s in DT and didn't do much after a great first quarter.

Taylor Hunt spent 77% of games in the midfield from Rounds 1-3. Dropped to 17% since Round 4. #AFLFantasy

North Melb.
Was not really sure where to ask this question but can anyone throw up some names of players that may play their first game in the next 2 to 5 weeks that could be a downgrade target (and end up being reliable bench cover)?

I can still see Dumont getting an extended run for North at some stage (but not sure he would have great job security).

Any of these guys "possibles" - Dalgleish, Laverde, Freeman, Mcbean, Steele

Steele has been in terrific form for the Giants' twos but whether or not he cracks a game in the competitive Giants midfield is another question altogether

I think Freeman has done a hammy. Scharenberg seems to be very highly regarded.
