After making 2 trades (Salem out for Zorko & Rocky out for Wines), I have:

Def: 2 cover
Mid: no cover
Forward: 1 cover

McKenzie and Krak out in the same week has decimated my mid cover. Ouch.

What do you guys think about swapping Adamson back to the defence, and bringing Saad into the mids so I at least have cover? I'd be forced to choose between Oxley or McIntosh on-field.

Put the E on McIntosh first tonight, hence if he does manage a good score against Freo you can move Saad tomorrow locking in a D6 score your happy with.

Bennell:mad:....nothing worse than when one of your pods goes down!!!

I refuse to cop a donut before the byes!!!!
Yeah right. They say the byes start in round 11. Bollocks. Why did I have so many players on byes in round 6, 7 and now 10 then ?
I will laugh if I cop a donut all those rounds and do not get any in round 11, 12 or 13.

Bloody Bennell being a pod of pain. ARGHHHHHHH!!!!!

Could Glenn still get a late call up...??????

Meanwhile, could there possibly be any more changes at Gold Coast?

The decimated Suns already pulled out two players from their selected side early on Friday, with Harley Bennell and Matt Shaw replaced by Greg Broughton and Clay Cameron.

But another player is under a very dark cloud — Luke Russell is battling a hip flexor complaint and training this week consisted of walking a lap of Metricon Stadium.

The problem is Rodney Eade barely has anyone left to bring in. Nick Malceski was added to the emergencies today but that was most likely just to make up the numbers.

Hahaha good times. On one hand i'm happy because we desperately need a win this week. On the other hand, my sc team is up sh*t creek and i still don't know what trades i'm making and these situations don't really help the cause.

Just out of concern, is round 10 a bye round too?
Wasn't aware of that but many players seem to be taking a break this week

4 bye rounds this year, didn't you hear!!

I'm off to the Suns Reserves vs Swans game tomorrow. Am looking to see how much the bookies are paying for 100 point plus margin. Need something, aside from the free food and grog, to make the game interesting.

I am simply going to have to do my trades assuming he is out. Looks like Dumont has to be play on field for me. I suspect up forward I get a donut. Bloody Bennell costing me two donuts in season already. Stevie J hurts more now as was hoping he would play all these rounds till his bye and make me some cash and decent scores and trade for profit. Turns out that was really bad move. Really wanted to get him a week earlier than I did too. I traded Brodie Smith in instead of him the week Stevie J got 110 and Smith went down. I had to do the Smith trade to avoid a donut down back but later on Cripps was out so I go a donut in middle, plus Smith injured and missed Stevie J 110. Now he comes in and not making cash scores and now thanking me with possibly more midfield donuts. Everyone of us that got on the Stevie J bus should be asking him for a refund.
I guess things could be worse...

This is officially up there with the crap had to deal with in 2012 season and now overtakes last season in terms of crap going wrong. The only good thing this season is lots of others copping crap too so not alone but if it ever gets as bad as my 2013 season I will be amazed. Thank your lucky stars all of you that only dealing with this type of crap going wrong for first time in all this time. Always going to have some seasons written off to crap going wrong you cannot control but I really would just love once to have the feeling of just one season of having some stuff go right. Man it has been a long long road. Surely next year it finally turns for me.

It's almost to the point where there is no point planning for the byes!!! This has to be one of the worst years for outs.

This reminds me over under 11's where we had to bring in players from the under 10's team get 18 on the park.

What has not happened yet is the types of bring a player in with trade and they get injured within first few moments of game and score crap and get long term injury and have to trade losing cash. I had Brodie Smith go down the moment I brought him in but not traded because he was not going to be out long term so least I not lost cash value or lose another trade.
Thanking my lucky stars I still not had that happen this year although was forced to trade James Kelly losing cash but least he got 96 on field before his injury to nuts so the loss of cash was not completely ball busting.
I remember bringing in Collingwood player in 2012 and got injured with his first kick of that game and was on the bubble and lost cash too. Can't recall that name right now. Jack Grimes did something a year or two back for others.
So far this year, popular outs like Rocky and Ablett had decent scores and not really lost cash on what people paid for them.
