Having a stupid moment here.

Does this mean pick me one more time or one more week?
That's not the original quote. This is:

"To all you fantasy/dreamteam/supercoach fans who keep filling my feed the answer is Yes"

Which I assume means, he's back this week.

BREAKING | Jobe Watson out for the rest of the @AFL season with his shoulder problem
Season from hell. Which is saying a bit after the last two years.

Essendon's Mark Baguley decided to contest his charge and successfully had it downgraded at the AFL Tribunal tonight.

He will be fined $1500 and is free to play this weekend.

All other players accepted their sanctions.

Nah. All good. I know at some stage it will turn just expected it would not blow out to 4 seasons. My 2013 season easily tops my bad luck this year. Anyway hopefully Pearcey avoids my guys and he should be fine...lol

It's Jobe's third year in a row he's had a significant injury. You (should) know what you're getting yourself into when you pick a player north of 30 with that kind of recent history, and can't think you've been short changed if they go down. You can't keep saying that every setback is somehow a reflection of personal bad luck....

There was one year I picked Jobe and he was doing well until the Port Adelaide game.
It was the last game of the round and Jobe was my captain. I needed approximately 110 points from my captain to win an important cash league game. I was ranked in the top 500 too.
He then proceeded to have a collarbone injury (IIRC) in that game and was subbed out with 43 points I think.

Since then, I've never picked him again and never made any player in the last game as captain :p

^^ This.

Oz complains a LOT lol. One of the first posts I saw when I joined the forum was oz complaining about how unfair the SC cup draw was when there weren't enough players. Every week I see him bleeding about how injury riddled his team has been and how he has copped all of the big injuries etc.

The thing is - everyone is in the same boat. It might seem like you have copped them ALL but to a degree, everyone has dealt with this carnage. My injury list of players who have missed games is pretty long:

Bontempelli
Gibson
Lamb
Ellis yolemen
Vandenburg
Heeney
Salem
Ryder
Goodes
Cripps
Clark
Rockliff
Mumford
Lever
Sloan
Bennell (several times)
Watson

The year was 2013 because I did the exact same thing, Monya! It was a really high-scoring round, too (for everyone else); and getting Jobe's 90-odd as captain killed my shot at overall! Glad to know I wasn't alone...

Mate, please give a it a bit of consideration if you are going to mouth off about someone, in this case my complaining. Which fair cop, I do at times. The fact is my whinge is understandable given my context is four years of it. It's called venting. I'm not whining about this year in isolation as a singular year of bad buck will tend to happen from time to time and I'm sure plenty have felt that this year. My experience is four years long. If you are going to knock a guy when he is down, rather than support, then least get it accurate of the bleeding is about four years, not one bloody year. Enough with kicking people when they are down. A bit of empathy and understanding would be more helpful or just leave it alone altogether. Walk in some one's shoes for fours years before hanging **** on them. Not happy Jan! Rant over!

That brought back some painful memory...I too had him as Captain that round!
