Hmm if what they're saying aboit Masten is true I hope they bloody crucify him. No room for that in our game 6+ weeks if it can be 100% proved. Makes Suarez look good ;)

Any news on the injury to Giles , I wouldnt mind seeing mckernan back :)
This is from that second tier spiel the have each week on the afl site

Ruckman Shaun McKernan (one goal) strengthened his chances of replacing Jonathan Giles following a good performance in the Bombers' thumping 113-point win.

With Giles in doubt to face Gold Coast after injuring his ankle against Adelaide on Saturday, McKernan's loads were carefully managed and he took part in about three quarters.

Good news for Kelly owners

However the news is better for veteran James Kelly, whose ankle injury is not as bad as first feared, according to Larkins.

Kelly sustained a serious ankle injury back in round 11 against Port Adelaide, causing him to miss three weeks.

"There's still a chance that he'll need another week off, depending on how sore he is," Larkins said.

"I'm probably not expecting him to miss. He knows his body well enough and, with strapping, they'll test him later in the week.

"My gut feeling is he will play."

I'm not sure why, but there's never any mention on the type of tackles which broke Parkers Leg. They are just as dangerous as sling tackles. If you have someone's leg tangled up with yours and drag them back these type of injuries occur. Does anyone think Adams tackle was dangerous or is it just one of those things that happen on a footy field?

I don't think there was anything wrong with the Adams tackle. You're meant to try to drag someone down in a tackle to stop their movement. Grew a bit of respect for Adams with his level of care towards Parker after that. Clearly just something that happens in the game

Doc Larkins' latest injury updates:

West Coast's horror run of injuries to key defenders has continued with Will Schofield no certainty to be fit for the first week of the finals due to a hamstring injury. That is the view of leading medico Dr Peter Larkins, who believes Schofield is set to be sidelined for three weeks after injuring his left hamstring in Sunday's derby showdown with Fremantle.

The Swans are yet to rule star midfielder Luke Parker out for the season but he is still expected to miss up to five weeks after undergoing surgery on a fractured fibula on Sunday.

Star forward Lance Franklin has also been classed as a "50/50" prospect to play against Greater Western Sydney as he continues to deal with a lingering back issue. "He's going slower than they expected. He wasn't able to do as much training as they would have liked last week and didn't play," Larkins said. "He's probably a 50/50 chance to play but if there's any concern with him they're going to give him another week."

Essendon ruckman Jonathan Giles could also be out for the season due to damage to the surface of the bone in his knee or, potential meniscus damage.

Eagles ruckman Scott Lycett is having scans on a potential posterior cruciate ligament injury in his knee that could impact on his ability to play in the coming weeks.

Why couldn't this have happened 2 weeks ago when Nic Nat went out... Had McKernan sitting on the bench hoping he would play. Would have saved me 2 donuts and massive drop in ranking.
