Sorry if they've been done!

Simpson vs Laird

Also, apart form Martin and Barlow, who's the next best forward to get? Can afford anyone

Simpson is proven but unknowns with new coach
Laird has just broken out and also has a new coach.
I'd go laird for the potential but it's a real tough line ball call.

Martin + Barlow will be prob 2+3 fwds behind lids I'm guessing but make sure you have cover coz he will be managed. This is also where I'm struggling but going lids, dusty, barlow fwd prems

Made a significant change after thinking in an x vs y format.

T Mitchell, Lobbe, J Anderson, Barrett, Kommer, King and S Collins
vs
Mills, Goldstein, Hopper, Gresham, Cockatoo, Currie and Marcon (DPP swap)

Turned an overly strong midfield to a slightly more normal midfield setup (still way over most mid budgets though) and upgraded weak rookies.

Thoughts?

Lots of rookies there that we can only guess on so its hard to comment

I think it boils down to Mitchell/Lobbe v Mills/Goldy in which case the latter for mine

Tippett(Ruck)+Mills+Deledio Vs Goldstein+Tippett(Forward)+117k Midfield Rookie?
Number 2 but would you consider a different forward with Tippett no longer your r2?

Just can't get into the Tippett pick. He's been at it a while now and not yet proven to be a reliable premium.

Yeah, exactly what I came down to, plus the bonus of I'm assuming potential for greater scores from the premium rookies is a bonus and also allows for me to be certain Mitchell is a premium keeper alongside the current big 5 I have

Want to create a little more cash as I think a couple of the high end rookies (eg Callum Mills) may become must haves. Have come down to changing my midfield from Titchell to Wines OR forward line Dollhouse to Mitch Robinson.

Don't mind Robinson. I think he took a while to fit into the Brisbane team but he finished the season hard. Not convinced the big scores at the end were connected to Beams not being on the field as Rocky or Beams were in and out for much of the season and Robinsons scores were up and down until that streak at the end. Taking more of a leadership role as well so thinking he could push up to 100ppg. Preference is to boot Dollhouse atm. Thoughts?

I prefer Titchell to Wines.

To put it simply, I think Titchell and Wines will average similarly while I think Dahlhaus will average more than Robinson.

Thanks Ben. I think I am going to change my mind on this one a few times. Perhaps I need few wines to help make up my mind...

I like the look of Wines and he is about $40k cheaper then TMitch
Dahl was great lest year, but I'm worried about his starting price and the impact of the return of Libba. I'm not starting him, but will monitor as a potential upgrade target.
Robinson is interesting. I don't have the guts to pick him, but if you have a good feeling then I think he could be a reasonable selection at about $500k

Who would you suggest?

I think I'm gona pick Robinson as F3. 26 is prime, he averaged 90 at 22. He said he has a bigger tank than last season.

Thanks all for the feedback. Will follow Robinson in the NAB and see how he is tracking. Still leaning toward bringing him in at the moment.
