I will be honest and say, Ablett playing Essendon in Round 1 was a small factor in me taking him.

I didn't want to see him post a 180 VC score without him in my team. I'd feel I was a mile behind already.

..... I wonder if I would have had him, if he played Freo Round 1, and didn't see Ess until Round 17!
Funnily enough this is what was making him a lock for me until I started looking at durability and all that other boring stuff. The comments from Rocket had me concerned as well and I had a feeling Crowley was gonna put the hard tag on him. Oh well, you win some you lose some! :(

Ablett, Hall, Lonergan....how sweet it is!
Snap! :D

Couldn't believe people were getting cold feet because Prestia was playing!
Surely when they picked Lonergan/Hall, they knew Prestia would be in sooner, rather than later!

Kinda disappointing that Davis hasn't come to the party. This is a perfect scenario for a young player.

I have Kennedy's 115 on the MID bench with the E on, and no FD.

I have Brown on the DEF bench with the E on, and Uebergang sitting at D6.

I was resolved not to do anything silly to get Kennedy's score, but watching the ESS game I'm wondering if it might be a winning play to go deeper in the DEF line. I could downgrade a MID keeper to an FD (Payne) and upgrade Uebergang to a DEF keeper, which gets Kennedy's score and restructures. Would probably be Wines to Payne and Uebergang to Laird. Is it panic stuff or prescient genius?

Stupid awesome Gaz. Hopefully they pop him back in the rack now they are on top.
Ah yep. If he was a true club man he'd put his hand up and sit on the pine and let the kids have a good run at it. Nothing for him to gain by playing out the second half
