Some player prices as they come through:

Jack Macrae: $511,000 hard to pass up considering limited FWD options
Jason Johannisen: $513,500 one of numerous options
Sam Docherty: $$591,600 see above
Jaeger O'Meara: $318,000 Lock if fit for round 1 you'd think
Nathan Fyfe: $573,000 LOCK
Gary Ablett: $620,000At this price I'd considering waiting on him

This from the Herald Sun at 2pm today:

"OK, we know this is the big question everyone wants answered so let's get it out of the way now. The Team Picker will be launched - all things being well - this afternoon. We don't have a specific time but keep an eye on the Herald Sun website."
Thank goodness I actually have a lot of stuff to do this afternoon so that my F5 key isn't going to be too worn out.....

I'm not particularly interested.

Almost 35 years old when the season starts and coming off a knee reco, I can see him being managed all year and missing multiple games as a result and lucky to average 90.

Is there a link or is it on the normal SC front page?
If you log-in to your team from last year.

Above your team from 2016 there will be a gold banner if you have access.

Do we think the 1 dollar heraldsun trial thing work this year? And can someone stick it to the front page if it does?
What's this 1 dollar HS thing?
You get a 28 day Herald Sun trial for $1, which gives you access to SC gold and the team picker.

I just looked into it, and in 2014 and 2015, this offer didn't become available until December 10th. :(

Hey mods,
Say I've written some player profiles for the pre-season for a fantasy website, am I able to post them and get feedback here in order to improve, or is that against the rules?

So in other words you want to draft by committee the content that is deriving a commercial benefit for another website? :p

Probably not, especially if you plan to simply copy/paste them with just some minor tweeks from one site to another. Although SCS has a good relationship with the site that l think you are planning to write it for, especially as they attended one of our SCS Meetups, we have no direct relationship as such, and generally it is not a good idea to have duplicate content on non related websites.

We have lots of people on here who visit and comment on other sites/groups, as a general guideline it is common courtesy to write 'fresh' rather than copy/paste on each site, even if the general gist of what you are saying is the same for each group.

OK my general rule for this year early when I saw the fixture was no GC or Port Premo's unless they are too good to refuse due to the early bye. They make good upgrade targets after this round.

At this stage I can't see any names leaping out to challenge this one for me so PORT and GC rookies only in my starting team I think.

Am I overplaying the potential points loss in R9 by starting Port or GC premo's?
