Surely in 2016 we can sort it out and have a half decent one. Graphics are one thing but if the game play is rubbish then it will be rubbish. The best AFL game by an absolute control mile was in about 03, don't quote me on this. The game evolved every year, players retired, drafts were conducted and players were traded. This! Needs! To! Happen!!!!
Yep agreed, the games between 2003-06/7 were unreal, the ones that came out a few years ago were pretty ordinary though.

Hopefully we get a good one this time!!

Quick question guys: is there a way to see your starting team from last season on the SC website/app?

I honestly can't remember all of my selections

I don't know of a way to see your starting team but you can see all your trades in the team tools box on the right-hand side of the page. You should be able to work it out from there easily enough.

Yeah I found that and it's been helpful (to a point), but there are still a few gaps :(

Should still be able to see your team on the round scores section (where those little tool tabs were - trading history, notepad, watchlist, round scores). It'll show the scores all your players got for a round. Just go to round 1 and you should be able to see the scores for all 30 players for round 1. Can only find this on the website through a computer though, having difficulty finding it on the mobile site.

Article on AFL website titled "Sloane's Christmas wish is for a new pay deal".

When asked what "Rory Sloane wants for Christmas", he answered a new surf board, then the reporter said "what about a new pay deal" then he went onto to talk about it. No wonder players can't stand the media.

Did he make the comments at a media conference then?

Not sure.

A reporter ask the question, why does it matter?
Well unless you saw or heard the interview live or you saw or heard a recording of the interview, how can you say with any certainty that a reporter asked Sloane what he wanted for Christmas, Sloane responded "a new surfboard", the reporter then asked "what about a new pay deal?" and Sloane then went on to talk about it?

Because that's not what I got from the Lee Gaskin article on afl.com.au.

I listened to it in full this morning on SEN around 5.30.
