What are you talking about, justice has been served ? All I see being served is another bad decision. Fyfe should never have even been reported mate!
If by 'bad decision' you mean he didn't receive a harsh enough penalty, then I agree. If you mean he didn't deserve a fine, then I disagree wholeheartedly. I am glad to see he at least copped a fine. It's not a good look.

Yehh sorry, thought you were reffering to the Fyfe incident. Yes I agree Rance had to be fined for that Italian soccer player act.

If it was Buddy he would have got off. Buddy at the Hawks only had to breathe on someone to get rubbed out but at the Swans he seems to get a much better run.

As far as I'm concerned, Fyfe should've been let off, and Rance given a year's contract with Home and Away.
No tolerance in my eyes for sickly bohemian behaviour, it's all about me, Rance.

Mate, the overreaction is a bit rich imho.
We get he does it but seriously,is he the only player who does?
Being called a cheat in media, especially by fans of Essendon,Matthew Lloyd nearly invented it.

Feel free to ignore my posts if it's such an issue.

I'd probably watch Home and away if it had Rance on it... Actually, is home and away still on the tv is it? Hope Freo fight the charge and get him off. Many Super Coaches would be happyier than unhappy.

Hey mate,

Just letting you know that Rance is overrated, and is up there with Lindsay Thomas as one of the biggest divers in our game.

Cheers,
BomberSam.

What else was Fyfe supposed to do? Just let the guy run straight into him? He put his arms up naturally to protect himself. Careless and clumsy yes but not intentional.
Absolute joke...

What are the chances Freo rest Fyfe against Carlton next week ahead of their bye, to give him three weeks off to rest his knees heading into the second half of the season?
My thoughts exactly. Especially as it's against Carlton, and it's in Melbourne. If he doesn't appeal, or if he does and it gets rejected, I'm strongly considering trading him out.

The problem is, of course it's all speculative about R13, so let's assume that he DOES play R13. Even if you trade him to someone else, unless they're a GCS or PTA player, you're only getting 1 game back, as that player would invariably have their own BYE coming up.

The only option I see working would be trading out Fyfe for a PTA FWD like Gray or Westhoff (effectively gaining 2-games back), and using the additional cash somewhere else.

Thoughts?

Not only Fyfe I'm concerned with, but Coniglio as well, hmmm.

I have considered this scenario. I definitely agree that trading him to a PTA or GCS player would be preferred, however none particularly take my fancy and I am looking instead at a POD midfielder in Josh Kelly. He will at least play the two weeks that Fyfe will miss (assuming for now that his suspension stands, and then his bye). But you are right I guess the week Kelly misses is the week that Fyfe probably plays, so it is only a one game advantage. However, with my current bye structure, I will have 8 playing midfielders in R13, with Zerrett and Josh Kelly being the only ones to miss (Barry on bench).

I might have to look at some PTA and GCS options. Wouldn't it make it easy if Fyfe's appeal failed and Ross says he will rest him for R13 anyway ;)

Or even if he dodges the suspension, that could work too. Fingers crossed.

Fyfe in 58% of teams and Cogs in 42% so you're not alone. Might be an opportunity for some of us to go on the offensive with some out of the box trading to try and make up some ground on the leaders.

Traded Coniglio out 2 weeks ago as a tactical trade, if it's an injury then that's fortunate for me but either way it balanced my bye structure and got me Macrae. However Macrae hasn't given the scoring I'd hoped for but maybe better in the long run.
