Yeah I share your sentiments with Crouch and just need to have him in my side, at the moment I can also do that by dropping Oliver to him and turning one of the unreliable rookies like Scott, Gibbons or Duursma into Sam Collins (who I think will average between 65-75 but should be completely safe for job security)

So that's two questions for you haha, I'm sure of the rest of my side barring injuries.

I'm willing to drop Oliver because I still consider his shoulders a worry in the long run (he may experience pain, might be impeded, I don't know I'm not a doctor but scores tend to drop post shoulder surgery).
Gray is a tricky one. He hasn't moved from my side for some time but there seemed to be mixed messages on where he will play (IIRC he said more mid, the coaches said more forward?) and perhaps his fitness. If he's fit and playing mainly mid he's a lock. If not he could be an upgrade target. I don't love the next tier down, but could potentially be convinced on names like Darling, Mundy, Boak, Worpel or even Greene if you really wanted to raise cash. Wingard was my favourite cheaper option but he's no good to us right now.

I actually prefer Crouch to Oliver as a starting pick given his shoulders (although this does seem less of an issue so far than I had feared) and Collins looks an obvious pick to my eyes, so that seems like a win win to me.

Missed the dusty news but doesn’t sound too serious.
Who would you prefer out of him and Crouch? Noting I currently have Brad it that makes a difference.
I would say Dusty, especially if you're not concerned about his fitness. More proven, more durable, and his side's clear number one mid. I now really like M Crouch though, so I happily have both.

As for B Crouch, he wouldn't change anything for me unless you have too many in that bye round ... for me whether two round 14 players both play for Adelaide, or Adelaide and Richmond, makes essentially no difference.

Who’s going with all three of Gawn,Grundy,Macrae ?

If you are missing one or more of them,I’d be interested in which ones/ones.

At the moment I’m going without Macrae, could change though.
Just Grundy for me. Have Westhoff at R2(/F4) and five mids I'm more comfortable of at their starting prices.

Yeah i ended up landing on Dusty for similar reasons. Also knowing me, i don't think i could go into the first game of the year without him!

Libba vs. Walsh?
Burgess vs. Petrucelle?
Libba clearly but 100k difference in price probably changes other players in your team so not a true XvY.

Burgess on the back of his J/S and DPP, especially if you have Moore in your team.

Agree with your assessment. I'm keen on Gray ATM - he moved well in the JLT so I think his knee isn't too bad. Although he's one that I'm open to changing if I can be convinced on a cheaper type (ie: Kelly/Darling/Billings/Boak) - might be forced to drop him down any way if I need cash to upgrade a rookie.

Greene, I liked the assessment of aps1 I think it was, could still be a trade in target at $380-400k if he starts slow and then shows form. If he has a season average of 90 and starts slow, you could end up with an average for 90+ in your side with the right timing. Could otherwise just start him though, but I fear that he'd be prone just to being flicked out after 2 rounds if he put in a few 70s early.

Not saying anything more about M.Crouch but he's in my side.

I might have one too many of the value types and could do with one more of the $600k mids but I don't mind it atm.

It's a thing of beauty
Wait to you see his record at the MCG over the past 3 years. It's a shame that last year ruined it.

MCG: 114.92 from 39
2016: 116.71 from 14
2017: 126.91 from 11
2018: 103.71 from 14

MCG Wins: 117.43 from 30
2016: 126.57 from 7
2017: 131.67 from 9
2018: 103.71 from 14

Pretty interesting one here and would be interested in your thoughts

Fyfe(m4), scrimshaw(d5) and Balta(f7)
Vs
Sheed(m5, Libba(m6) and Moore(f4)

About the same price and this is probably my final decision

Second one but it's not an ideal combo, even though i'm considering all 3. More so because i've put a line through Fyfe's name and unsure of Balta's JS.

Fyfe at M4 = Macrae/Cripps/Oliver at M1-3?

@Bomber18 's favourite stat! Shame they don't have that run of games at the G until after their bye.

Yeah excactly

Been looking at it like this

Fyfe 115, Balta 60, scrimshaw 70 = 240 plus 1 keeper

Sheed 105, Libba 95, Moore 80 = 280 slim chance of a keeper but good cash gen
