Respectfully disagree. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity for them and the club and the club's fans to win a GF. That is what the player and club spend there entire career trying to achieve. Clearly he played in this case but if a player needs treatment and that is the difference between him playing or not playing and the club possibly losing a GF I am sure every supporter of the club would want him to have the treatment.

It would not have surprised me if the boot was on the other foot that Eddie would have found a way to get around it. He usually does. And imo Golden Gil should not be in the phone ringing players with the heavy hand. It should be dealt with through the club.
It sounds like he went rogue at the last minute, tried to get out of it with no prior notice, and had to catch an Uber to make it in time. No chance or point in “going through the club” cause he was AWOL. All because he wanted to “train some more”.

Has anyone seen a link or similar that outlines when team information comes through over the course of this week?

Would be very helpful if so!

Completely agree with you Manikato. If they'd lost, I am sure we would have heard a lot more about this. Would you rather see your favourite player drive by in a car, or lifting the premiership cup?

Just because they get paid a decent amount of money doesn't mean they shouldn't be allowed to get treatment to do their job, aka playing footy.

Round 12 Premiums:
I got my team to a point were I was happy with it and then was doing my final checking (inj. risk, bye spread, age profile, etc.) and I noticed that I only had 4 R12 bye players and all of them are rookies.
I am going back and trying to even out my bye structure and are struggling.
What R12 premiums are you picking?

Nothing surprises me about this lot anymore. Misguided, pig headed, out of touch egomaniacs. History will not judge the likes of McLachlan, Demetriou or Hocking, well.
Demetriou is actually starting to look really good thanks to how truly awful Gil and Hocking are.

I would consider Fyfe, Westhoff, Gray, Dunkley, Macrae and Merrett in roughly that order.

I'm not sure if this is what you mean? Ignore it if it is not.

Other than the normal times of teams being named there are no official times for teams. Some teams announced rookies on Wednesday, others on Thursday mid morning to mid afternoon and others not until official teams were announced.

Thanks for the replies gents. I was wondering about the time for offical team announcements/when extended benches get culled etc. I'm sure I will know this again soon enough, but couldn't recall!

Such a pain in the ass BF now, team boards and SCE are handy but has little else going for it -
Yeah I haven't read the main board in years. Which is why we are here.

Carlton board has some great posters and good information.

SCE is Elite
