Yep I’m the same. Hately still firmly on my radar. lets see what happens when the extended bench’s are removed tonight.

I’m even thinking of starting Drew in the mids so I can get a D/F link with Burgess and Moore.

Don’t want to read too much into teamsheets but Drew starting on the ground as a follower is promising

I think Brander has a hip injury, doubtful he'll play round 1.

Has been mentioned (both positively and negatively) but I'm tempted by Wilkie who is only in 4% of teams. Agree with the JS concerns that have been raised but he would be instead of Duursma who also has JS concerns. There is much less depth at Saints than at Port and the role he plays can be very lucrative. If he plays well there's a spot for him, and I always err towards older cash cows if possible.

Scrimshaw a must have? i cant fit him in unless i swap him for Collins or downgrade Moore to a Blakey/Parker.

Brander was named and has traveled to Brisbane... That hip knock was in an intra-club before the JLT. He played 2 JLT games after that knock. It was nothing at all.

Don't think Brander will find games easy to come by. We know JK will likely be back next week and Cripps the week after and Rioli hopefully next week... So that leaves 3 of Brander, Allen, Petruccelle and Waterman to lose there spots. Brander should pick up games at times this season when injuries present, but don't count on him for a solid 8-9 games to start the year... At least not this year.

Who would you pick out of Petrucelle vs Parker?

I currently have both on the bench, But I think Petrucelle possibly might have a slight edge in scoring, with Parker having better JS.

If I had to go with only one, I'd probably go with Parker.

I haven't done a lot of research but I reckon Parker has the better JS. I'm trying to work out an alternate to Petrucelle at the moment.

Others will have more data than me, but I've gone cold on Pet.

Forwardline is a lottery this year + rookies always being a lottery, it seems particularly tricky.

I've ended up batting a little deeper in the forward line to avoid this scenario...have gone with Moore F5, Drew/Setters/Parker F6/7/8

Not a set up for all, but really trying to avoid those forward rookies who will play one or two games and we never see again, I feel like Balta and Petrucelle may fit that bill....I also may be very wrong
