Regarding Fifita here is an excerpt from the NRL Supercoach Talk Captains article:
"Back-to-back 60+ scores for the big man courtesy of a horrible pass and cheeky toe. Owners, and those who captained, were cheering as his try assist was awarded in the final updates. His minutes dropped against the Titans but the score rose. Both were due to a one-sided affair in the Sharks favour. The Cowboys pack, even with the loss of Lolo, is one of the strongest in the NRL and Fifita will have his hands full. The big prop has scores of 74, 57, 67, 110, 79, 66 and 91 in recent seasons against these northern boys, who this year are allowing opposing props to score at a rate of 1.11 PPM. They have given up scores of 70 (TPJ), 65 (Flegler), 62 (Vaughan) and 53 (Graham) over the first two weeks. Even Jacob Host scored 45 on them, and he’s terrible. I’m excited about what Fifi can do."

I don't have Surgess and Tedesco but both are great options.

For me it's narrowing down the quartet of A Fifita, J Trbojevic, J Arrow and E Marsters. Jurbo for the safe option but toying with the other 3 primarily J Arrow,
I know arrow got a huge score last week but you have to remember that he could end up with a heap of missed tackles and a lack of ball if it’s one way traffic for the Rabbitohs. That’s the only thing I’m worried about with arrow for this week. Will be close to a lock in coming weeks though.

Do you think J Arrow would be a better choice against the Warriors next week and select Fifita as C this week.

I think either is a good option. It just depends on how many minutes each plays for their teams. If arrow plays 65-70 minutes you want him as captain. If he plays 55 minutes like round 1, then not so much.

Fifita I feel is just due a big match, so I’m going with him for a third time and hope he can smash a big total out. I know a lot will go for Surgess this week, but I don’t think he’ll get as many attacking points as the two previous weeks despite a weaker team. I reckon the backs will have a field day though.

Thanks. Captained J Turbo RD1 and S Lane RD2 and will likely give Arrow and Fifta the captaincy duties over the next fortnight.
Another excerpt from the aforementioned article:
"despite the huge victories, the Rabbits are allowing the 4th most points to 2nd Rowers this season led by a 70 from Tariq Sims and a 79 from AuboGun"

Peats out for 10 weeks. Mitch Rein is his replacement and could be a cheap option (377K) for those looking for a 2nd hooker to make some cash as he has a much better work rate than Peats when he plays big minutes. Tends to find the try line as well so might spark the Titans into some decent form. Half thinking of trading McCullough down to him and upgrading Capewell or Hess potentially next week.

EDIT: As an added note, Peats has played 80 minutes in both games and Rein had not been in the team and he's slotted straight in with no reserve hooker. You can wait 1-2 weeks if you want to see his form (no price change for 3 matches) as he hasn't played 80mins at hooker since his St George days from memory where he used to score well.

Perfect timing by you 7/11, Holland needed to go and I needed some spare coin to get Opacic to Burns. :) I hunted the Couriermail for info on hookers and couldn't find anything. (cue the jokes about the looking in the wrong section)

Personally I would wait a week, but I guess if getting Burns is the highest priority its not a bad thing if you desperately need the cash.

Ponga going no good. Is Ponga to Ferguson via dpp viable or is sideways trading a bad idea. We do have more trades than AFL.

25 rounds in NRL and the added pain in the backside with origin decimating teams during the middle of the season. You still have to be careful with trades as they can be a premium when you need them later in the season for injuries. It was partially why I declined trading for Round 2 because I wanted to try and save trades where I could.

I'd be more inclined to slight downgrade to a Gutherson/Tuivasa-Sheck and upgrade someone in a different position which could potentially earn you more points/cash in the longterm. Ferguson has no doubt been brilliant during Parramatta's wins, but he only scored 40 against Penrith and his round 2 domination (score of 119) came against a Bulldogs team who don't know their front from their back at the moment. As a winger, he will largely rely on attacking points and with the next four weeks against better defensive sides, he might find it harder to get those stats. Better off trying to get fullbacks or 2RF/CTW DPP who play big minutes in the pack.

Some huge performances from Bateman and CNK tonight. Unfortunately I seem like one of the few who didn't have CNK in my scorers! Congrats to those who used him tonight and well done to all who have him as a cheapie, huge price rise incoming!

It's pretty hard to argue a case for CNK over any of your reserves. As you say nice timing for accumulating a huge price rise.

Teddy looks a lot more active tonight in drier conditions, he won't hit his BE but I feel a big score coming for him already.

Yep. Just traded Holland this round and Friend could be gone next round but I think they said leaving him off tonight was precautionary.
It's still a precautionary 19 after a DNP. Hard for owners to stick fat at that output.
