If hately is in I am not sure how much trust you can have that he will remain in the team. He Will certainly make you 100k but he will be in and out of the squad and there is a lot of pressure on the kid to perform well. Some clubs will allow one or two bad performances ie Robbie young but GWS seems more ruthless. He is basically an emergency every week. So one bad performance he is out.
On the same coin, I can see Cameron giving him another game (if he plays tonight) purely to rest a senior player with a niggle before the bye.
Us fantasy coaches only need him to play R12 and 13 for it to be a success

This is BS. I want to bring in Hately if he plays but don't want to risk wasting a trade if he doesn't. Problem is that the only viable players I can trade out are Stocker or B.Scott and both their teams get locked out before GWS even plays. ***

We're getting to the point on the SC season now where it's not as much of a bad thing to sit on a cash cow who is a bit more of a slow burn.

I'll definitely be stashing Hately at M11 if he's gets a game this week, as he will get a run of games at some point and wont take long to make bank. Given that I'll also have Whitfield, Williams and Cogs (not sure if I can get to Jelly now) the Hately would be a prudent backup to have in case of rest or injury to any of those three.

Will have a tough decision to make between Bewley next week and Clarke the week after if I grab Hately this week.

This is super frustrating. I’m in the opposite position this round, but consider myself pretty lucky. One of the reasons these late changes can be so annoying!

Just to add to the intrigue , Giants NEAFL side plays tomorrow , doubt they only brought one travelling emergency with them.

I'm hanging on the Hately news for the exact opposite reason to the rest of you. My entire seasons planning revolves around no trades week 1 of the byes. After cooling Whitfield and Hurn I need Greene to play to have 18.
