Just thinking if Walsh stays at 90 all season is it even worthwhile trading him out ? a 105 Ave player is only going to give me a extra 150 points which given my position hardly seems worthwhile using a trade on.

Would I be better off just keeping him at M8 ?

Thoughts

Definitely worth considering. The risk is that his 2nd half of the season average is lower than the first. First year player and amount of mileage he is covering each game certainly does add to the risk.

@Juzzo

I might know Douglas better if he got more possessions ?

think he is # 26

as for DMac was looking for him all night , didn't realise he wasn't even playing hahaha
Correct, 26 Douglas. Douglas has short legs and has dark hair with heavy features. McKay is a slim blonde with fine features. :D

good points , damn looked impressive yesterday sitting in Cripps back pocket.

looks a endurance beast already , the Bye round could freshen him up.

will see how his price and BE are looking

I like this line of thought: I think there are a few rookies that are potential keepers, I think some teams will be forced into this route given how many trades have been burnt to get to this stage of the season. I'm potentially looking at Hore as a keeper in the backline but it would be a real boon to also keep Walsh and have him knock out acceptable M8 scores ROS. The extra trade will be super super valuable in the run home.

Grundy, Gawn, Oliver, Lloyd, Heeney, Baker to come

That'll push Clarks score out for me, but I could be looking at 1950-2000 if all goes to plan

Great moment watching Carlton v Brisbane yesterday, was so happy for them. There'll be a few monster scores getting about this weekend that caught that Cripps VC!

I only have 10 trades left and Duursma & Walsh left to upgrade BUT also the following "fake" premiums :-

Shaw , Crisp , Milera
Mummy
Darling , Westhoff

so just thinking out loud whether 10-15 Ave points each week by getting a cheap M Crouch , Treloar for eg is even worth trading Walsh , not going to make a hell of a difference to my final position.

Obviously Walsh could drop off completely but he seems to be a endurance beast.

Only really have Answerth & Setterfield worth trading on my bench at this stage so not sure what to do.

Hore is interesting to see what impact Lever & May have on his scoring.

I've luckily got Foxtel... But today's game is on a 3hr delay on FTA out here in the west. That is just not right.
it's piss poor , we get 3 Adelaide & 3 Port games each season as well but on 3 hour delay , yet the Shanghai game manages to be shown live.

Do you "lose" a game each weekend as well so they show a WAFL game live on FTA ?

Great to have Walsh's 140 odd during a bye round, but gee that complicates trading plans as I had penciled him to be out for Macrae next round. Will hold on to him for one more week and do the swap in R14.
Brodie Smith becomes the player I need to trade out instead of Walsh (nobody cashed him in at the right time either)

Yeah I believe it's the exact same situation in WA as it is SA.

ROB, Williams, Josh Kelly and Matt Crouch standing up last night - Milera and Cogs not so much.

Today and tomorrow could be anything from awesome to a complete disaster: Darling, Heeney, Crisp, Moore and Brayshaw

Hoping Grundy and Gawn just wrestle each other all day for a pair of 70s ;)

Disappointed in Kelly's full time score, was in the 90s at 3/4 time. Wasn't an entire collapse like Neale who was 91 at 1/2 time but it would have been nice had he scored at least a 120.
