fair enough , he might provide better cover than Young & Gardner though when the "General" appears
I could provide better cover than Young and Gardner and I am a 51 yo overweight bloke with some health issues, lol. Good point re Lynch, would be great to have at F7 for cover.

own them both as well , I seem very good at picking the spud bench rookies every year and missing a lot of the good ones

I forgot all about Lynch until just then , been watching his price drop these past weeks , think his scores will rapidly increase towards the back end of the season

Can't look at ruckmen anymore , it is Grundy time ?

4 trades left , if Hannebery doesn't work as M8 too bad (season can't get much worse)
time for some fun trades for the rest of the season

Duursma - > Mumford
Young - > Lynch

if I am not Top 10 , won't matter if I am 11th or 200,000th

No. Just No. Fun is not watching putrid scores or players being suspended. Rather Nic Nat and Hanners at this rate, and I don't like either of those!

If Hanners goes ok against the Tigers he will be coming in next week ?

Need to have some enjoyment for the rest of the season.

If Hately named, will people bring him in?

Do we think if Whitfield plays next round Hately is back out, does that change your decision?
I will probably grab him - given the existing investment in GWS midfielders a lot of teams have now, a high scoring rookie who may potentially come in down the stretch if they get more injuries would be the epitome of strong bench cover.

To put it in perspective normally your M11 would be a donut anyway, so having Hately in there would serve the same function if he isn't playing. This would, admittedly, require you to have DPP elsewhere on your midfield line if that's something else you were looking to squeeze into your lineup,

Anyone have any thoughts or insights into Rose from Sydney?
Wondering if he's worth downgrading from Larkey, need a FWD downgrade.
Thanks!

Thoughts on Ellis/Sicily/Andrews to Logue this week to free up a lot of cash to go after an elite premium like Jelly?

I'm considering this because my backliners have been stinking it up lately - and aside from Hurn Lloyd and Whitfield, the rest are pretty unreliable right?

From what I can see from averages, it is the forward line, midfield and rucks that consistency get the big scores. Backliners aside from Hurn, Lloyd and whitfield (and less premium scoring - Williams Stewart and Laird) have all been inconsistent. Sicily and Andrews are pretty unreliable.

Almost makes me feel downgrading to Logue won't lose me that many points. Logue looks like a mainstay in the backline for freo right?

Any freo supporters can confirm this? Bloke?

Logue will be there til seasons end pending injury mate. Can't see him keeping up this level of scoring however.

Though does seem to be backing himself a lot more than previous seasons and seems a 'smarter' football than before...so who knows

Walsh & L Baker to Sloane and the return of the Mundy
Mundy has been good for half his games and average to poor for the others. Where do you see him going from here?
I seem to recall him finishing seasons with his average increasing in the past, but having said that haven't fully researched this although that is why he is coming in.

Cool, I've been a bit taken with the DPP mid option... but I'm now just going to bring in a DPP D(2 play?!) in mids to create the link with Danger and co.

I'm thinking the same too. But looking at Heeney because of price and Gray because of potential.

Outside 2017, he has always managed a more than respectable average towards the latter part of a season.

Excluding his injury affected 2011 season, he has only missed a total of 4 games from Rd15 onwards since the start of 2012.

No Hogan, I see him forward maybe for some time in the game. His heatmap doesnt suggest it last weekend, however, whenever Hogan out or injury in fwd line, he has had poor scores it seems.
