That I like the sound of. Do you think his job security is decent enough this back half of the year?
I've got Young on the pine too so I share your concerns, but I'm also inclined to just create a mid/fwd link and hope there's enough coverage across the 5 rookies.

Need help. Team atm.

DEF: Lloyd, Williams, Sicily, Andrews, Smith, Hore (Logue, Gardner)
MID: Jelly, Neale, Cripps, Macrae, Fyfe, Oliver, Brouch, Duursma (Clarke, Baker, Bewley)
RUC: Grundy, Gawn (Bines)
FWD: Boak, Danger, Telly, Daniel, Jezza, Worpedo (Burgess, Young)

Planning on using just the one trade to get the Sloane Ranger in. After this ill have 5 trades leftover.

Question is who should I trade out between Hore and Duursma?

Hore out:
Leaves me $126k for a future trade and could play Duursma/Logue at D6 for a while and target a better D6 down the track.

Duursma out:
Hore plays as D6 with occasional loop with Logue. Leaves me with $88k for future trades.
Really a question between scoring and value rentention between Duursma v Hore. Duursma is a first year plaer so should tire soon (it’s crazy how good he’s been so far). Hore has a larger BE and could lose a lot of value quickly if he cant return to 90s but is mature aged.

I will have the Duursma/Logue loop myself at d6 so am hoping that works out. Maybe Hore out because of Duursma’s DPP? Could allow you to pivot Duursma into the mids later and keep him as a mid cover option (this appeals to me too)

Ok ... so I've continued playing around with my tables with a focus on Midfielders today as that is last area I might do an upgrade ....

- Nope as before I don't have the trade answers as everyone has different goals, numbers of trades left, opinions on certain players, upcoming draws etc
1561611015477.png Some notes:
- I used a 97 as the cut off ave when when selecting players this time to look at that got me down to the Little Master and then added a couple more that I've seen discussed or in existing teams ... if anyone has a player they want added just let me know (it won't take me long to adjust the figures)
- There might be some gremlins as I work out my own BE's (thanks to @THCLT), Ave's etc

Abbreviations used are the same as before:
- OR (overall average ranking from the selected players)
- 3R and 3 Rnd (3 round ranking / average)
- 5R and 5 Rnd (5 round ranking / average)
- $ PP (current $ cost per point scored)
- MN (Magic Number of my full competition players calculated $ PP ave)
- BE - ave (difference between my calculated BE and the players current average)

I don’t know enough to make a call on that, but his injection into the team has coincided with two wins against one stronger team and one middling team. I’d hazard a guess he’s got at least 2-3 weeks more if they manage another win this week.

Of what I’ve seen he seems to be more of a wing player though, so whether or not he gets extra mid time will be up in the air.

If the Heeney scoring is consistent with how it was when Buddy was out, his owners will be seriously worried right about now (averaged 80.5 in those 4 games with a 116 in there). That said, he might get the spike scores from the GC game this week, so there’s that to consider.

Would keep Duursma for his DPP , Logue looks viable onfield for now.

Once your mid rookies bench fatten up you could use that extra cash to upgrade Burgess/Young to a Mundy/Menegola type.

Do I bring in Mrouch this week as my last mid, or double down and wait for a Sloane/Oliver. Still have to bring Whitfield back in to finish my defence. Fwd line is passably complete.

Have 10 trades and 30k in the bank.

Would mean Answerth and Butters to Hind and Mrouch

Or

Answerth to Hind, and either of Butters/Scott to Hately (or someone else on the bubble) and hold the cash for now.

With 10 trades you have enough scope to take a punt on Hately but I think its a toss up as to who finishes off the year better between Sloane or Crouch and I prefer Hind as a trade in option.

Ive just realised in order to trade westhoff and hore out i have to trade a fwd rookie in. Danger shifts fwd and i can bring in fyfe vs kelly but the rookie cant be hind/hately.

So now its rose vs cameron ***

I'm in same boat, would like Hately/Hind before the forward rooks. Not sure what I'm going to do this round.

With that though they remain my bench cover with young lmao.

I can take a punt on lynch as the downgrade and f7 cover and hope he finishes strong being fitter and all the richmond ins and take sloane as the mid instead of fyfe/kelly. Thoughts?

Pending selection I'm going L Williams to Logue at D8. As a minimum it's cash generation in the short term. Will hopefully allow a final upgrade in the midfield by freeing up some Hore $$ which are otherwise locked away until Whitfield returns.

10 trades left. So wasteful, as I have only owned Sicily fofor a few weeks, but he is going to have a 'mare against WCE up forward. Could swap him to an actual good mid at his current price...

Duursma - > Mumford
Scott - > Hately (can't have a Harley ride this season so this is the closest I could find)
