Sadly, it has recently been affected. The cyber crack down on wiki, news services, and other things means that sc has been difficult at times without a VPN.

Welcome to China!

Grab a VPN before you come. I recommend, expressvpn, astrill, and Nord VPN. It seems geographic and company dependent as to which service is best. For instance astrill works best for me in Beijing, express better in Shanghai.

Send me a pm and I can guide you if you need.

But you should be right to just pay a month for any one of these services. Expressvpn the punter's choice.

Good news is that this site remains unaffected.

Indonesia apparently talking to Australia about co-hosting the 2034 World Cup after Thailand withdrew.

or the 10 ASEAN countries may make a bid too.

Should just bid for it outright. Would be brilliant.
We tried that for 2022 , couldn't bribe enough officials ?

love the concept of multi counties putting in a bid , be huge for the 10 ASEAN countries if they could do it.

Argentina , Chile , Paraguay & Uruguay looking to co-host 2030.

China will probably get interested in bidding soon.

Not sure we have enough FIFA approved stadiums at the moment and if we have to build 3-4 more will they be used enough after the event.

Not sure how many would be interested in the fantasy version, but are there many people who follow cycling?

I'm a casual follower and have participated in the Velogames fantasy game previously, so was wondering if anyone else may be keen for the upcoming Tour de France fantasy?

The link for the TDF will open up once the riders are confirmed. If there's enough interest, I'll throw up a thread for it.

The first fantasy game I ever played was a TDF fantasy game on the SBS website and I loved it. I played it for a few years and then they changed the rules and ruined it.

I do follow the tour and it may be interested depending on the rules and how much work it would be.

Its one of those pick and stick comps, so once you've picked your 9 riders and the tour starts you're locked into those. You get given a set amount of points and riders are priced accordingly.

Ok I like that better than the ones where you have to trade for every stage. I can’t see a TDF website yet but there is one for Swiss Tour. The are a lot of points awarded for a lot of different things. From your experience should you be targeting possible stage winners or GC contenders?

This particular one gives a good spread of points, so you might have 4-5 GC contenders, 1-2 guys who compete for sprint points/green jersey and a couple guys who try to shark 2-3 stage wins/King of the Mountain classification. The year I did really well was the year Pinot won the young rider (3rd place also), had Nibali who won it and I think 2-3 more of the top 10 (valverde, Mollema and I think 11th place as well). There were a few crashes that season too which made it quite brutal and meant that I got fairly lucky.

That sounds ok. I would be up for it if you can get a quorum.

I've probably got time for something like this. Set and forget.
