I know @THCLT is enjoying a break but thought I'd continue this thread theme as I enjoyed it last week.

I'll probably attempt to mirror his observations tomorrow from last week to give him a break (specific player break downs)
- Got the rest of my team updates done so will have the time ..
- My formatting might not be as good though ...

So here is my updated info for this week:

Yep I... know I'm stuffed overall wise but can't see any harm in tracking this type of info ... always willing to observe, take advice and learn ...

Carrying on from the great work from @THCLT last week whilst he has a break.

For those coaches at the pointy end of the overall ranking, this thread may be of some use as you endeavour to craft your way onwards and upwards for the remainder of the season.

Notes:
- Below is a listing of players for the Top 20 teams with non-playing players greyed out and players that got injuries this round in red text for ease of viewing
- Also included is total points and points behind leader for subsequent teams.

- 4 new teams appeared in the top 20 and I don't know what trades they may have made since the last update
- Of the remaining 16 teams I've also included what their respective trades probably were since the last post on this topic (max of 4 trades)

Absolutely brilliant @Tails. You're work if greatly appreciated by all, especially those SCS coaches right up the pointy end.
This is what makes SCS great, many contributors bringing together all sorts of stats, analysis, team and injury updates, etc.

This is fantastic @Tails and will follow with interest from now on.

I am surprised by the number of BSmiths and Logues that are still in these teams.

I have been trying to work out which team I would like to have and I reckon the team currently placed 3rd is the best. Obviously he just traded out Gawn for Goldy which may prove to be a master stroke but It could also backfire.

Agree... obviously got no idea on how many trades left but he/she must have at least one as that trade set should have left a fair chunk ITB ..

Been looking at that too ... huge achilles heel .... ROB > ?? removes one of them but looking at the team does he/she have any more moves left ... guess time will tell ...
I now figure he brought Ziebell in last week to avoid the Boak donut but it seems a bit far ? (could also be a great move) maybe he still has a decent amount of trades and ROB down & Logue up is next?

Edit: No like you said, he made no trades. Strange, but it definitely worked last week!

Round 17 Teams Recap
  • Gawn return whilst Lycett still has to overcome a late fitness test; the irony is that four coaches were forced into the Gawn to Lycett trade last round to avoid a Ruck donut
  • Logue & Hore featured in 16 & 3 teams respectively, their omission means four coaches will need to trade to avoid a DEF donut
  • All 12 owners of JKelly have bench cover so will be interested to see how many hold or trade
  • One coach still has Daniel, opting to trade Gawn & DClarke to Lycett & Sloane last round instead...will he survive this round?
  • Now is as good a time for current leader to move ROB to a DEF premium...will he pull the trigger?

Great update so thought I'd add a visual representation of how they sit with the teams named tonight (excluded previous trades) ... since I've done it anyway in the background out of curiosity and for my trade planning ....

He has had Ziebell for a while.

He brought in Gawn for Burgess in Rnd 14 and swung Lycett to the forwards.
