Posted a completed team last week that didn't get completed due to the Daniel injury. Here is the real version barring injuries to Boak or Lycett.
Trading Whitfield in for Duursma for the final upgrade. Setterfield will be the only rookie to stay the whole season. Finished with 11 of the premiums I started (including Whitfield who I'm bringing back in). These guys were Williams, Whitfield, Fyfe, Cripps, Neale, Matt Crouch, Grundy, Gawn, Danger, Boak, Tim Kelly and Heeney. It's been hard to get here thats for sure!

Only concerns are D5 and M7
Yes Ryan particularly has become a concern - not sure what's caused the change but he's hat two 60's since I brought him in. Funny though how many premiums have a few down games and then bounce back.

It's him I'm mostly concerned with because I think Blakely and Logue are interfering with his scoring.

There's definitely a few in my team I'd like to change, but it's worked well for me the last few weeks. Only 2 trades left so no room to move in terms of upgrades/sideways until later on in the season.

D: Lloyd, Hurn, Williams, Stewart, Sicily, Smith (Logue, Gardner)
M: Neale, Cripps, Macrae, Fyfe, Oliver, Coniglio, Merrett, Sloane (Clarke, Bewley, Scott)
R: Grundy, Goldstein (Bines)
F: Dangerfield, Kelly, Boak, Marshall, Billings, Heeney (Corbett, Chol)

Fingers crossed I don't get hit with too many injuries because my cover is pretty weak

Not sure if playing in wet conditions has hurt him. Watched out for him on Sat night, started well scoring 25 in Q1, then was unlucky to give a free away that cost a goal. few dump kicks then unfortunately went to WCE. Dont think the others impacted him and he wasn't playing tall.

One thing I noticed is the lack of taking the kick out, which seems a change. He is getting the same amount of intercept possessions as before, of 6-10 which is his normal range for 80-100 scores.

Fair call, his intercept marks have been down the past two weeks though. The kick ins would be a massive concern, I had not picked up on that, he was getting 10 free extra points compared to last year due to that rule change. Hope he can turn it around because like you say premiums do go through peaks and troughs!

Super strong team. Forward and backline are all the top tier players for their respective positions.

Very nice side, with good structure in coverage via DPP. I reckon you'll keep rising from here.

Anyone else with O'Brien waiting on Gawn as a final upgrade? Interesting to watch the Dees this week and seeing if they use Preuss alongside Gawn and how impacted he is by the injury.

Questioning what the difference in scoring average will be from here out and whether it might pay to look at fixing a different line where I could find and improvement in overall scoring ave.

ROB to Grundy, and a DPP mid/fed "completes" my team with 4 trades left. I don't have Whitfield (yet).

D: Lloyd, Hurn, Sicily, Williams, Laird, Andrews (Logue, Naish)
M: Neale, Fyfe, Macrae, Oliver, Cripps, Cogs, Merrett, Mrouch (Clarke, Bewley, DPP)
R: Gawn, Grundy (Clarke)
F: Danger, Dunkley, Boak, Heeney, Telly, Worpel (Chol, Bines)

Worpel a starter who didn't really go bang. Andrews the same.

4 trades left and hate my defense... But will stick with it until finals.

Top of the ladder in my main league and hopefully Rock returns and praying Westhoff does too after both had massive games in the reserves.

Team is complete with westhoff in.

Back: Lloyd Laird Stewart Andrews Sicily Ellis (Naish Burgess)
Midfield: Cripps Neale Danger Oliver Fyfe Rockliff Coniglio Macrae (Clarke Stocker Baker)
Ruck: Gawn Grundy (Bines)
Forward: Dunkley Kelly Daniel Boak Lycett Westhoff (Gardner Settlefield)

Was meant to pull the trigger and get Andrews out for Logue... But lost track of time. Now I just have to hope and wait for players to make money. Dammit
Seems I have to remove this team from this thread. Had to trade Daniel and traded in Chol (should have done Cameron... i'm an idiot)

1 mid or fwd spot needed now.

D: Lloyd, Whitfield, Laird, Sicily, Williams, Andrews (Naish, Gardner)
M: Macrae, Cripps, Fyfe, Neale, Oliver, Zerrett, Bont, JDunkley (Clarke, KDunkley, Hind)
R: Grawndy (Bines)
F: Kelly, Boak, Danger, Heeney, Gray, Menegola (Young, Burgess)

Fairly decent team. Biggest holes at D6, F5 and F6. Hopefully Andrews, Gray and especially Menegola finish off well. Especially Menegola since I have carried him for nearly 2 months now.
I did have Jelly and Cogs but their recent injuries see them make way for Dunkley and Fyfe.
Have been playing with a donut at F6 recently with no Menegola but getting Dunks means that I can swing him forward for Menegola and play Clarke at M8 for the next couple of weeks.

Wish I had Hurn down back and maybe a Caleb Daniel forward but aside from that, got most of the big fish. FWD and DEF cover is pure ****e so have focused on getting the best team onfield. Hopefully no more injuries (lol fat chance)

So this is my completed team, took awhile but got there albeit with some iffy "premos" in there.
The good news is that this team scored me 2,500+ last week so I know it is capable of firing when everyone contributes.
The bad news is that if they fail, it will look pretty ugly...

D: Lloyd, Hurn, Laird, Crisp, Stewart, Birchall (Naish, Burgess)
M: Macrae, Fyfe, Cripps, Neale, Oliver, Sloane, Taranto, Zerrett (Clarke, Hately, Hayes)
R: G & G (Bines)
F: Marshall, Danger, Boak, Telly, Heeney, Hoff (Larkey, Gardner)

Gonna do Duursma to Blakely to basically complete my side this round. Can’t afford to hold on for Whitfield unfortunately.

D: Lloyd, Laird, Sicily, ZWilliams, Blakely, BSmith (Logue, Hinge)
M: Cripps, Fyfe, JKelly, Macrae, Neale, Oliver, Treloar, BCrouch (DClarke, Hately, Atley)
R: Gawn, Grundy (Bines)
F: Danger, Dunkley, Telly, Marshall, Heeney, JCameron (Parker, Gardner)

About 50k loose change in bank. Not many trades but it’s similar to most. Compromises are BSmith D6, Brouch M8, JCameron F6 (and no Boak). Crazy move later if I want to be aggressive is Parker to rookie and BSmith to Whitfield down the track.
Now I am complete, finally....

D: Lloyd, Laird, Whitfield, Sicily, ZWilliams, BSmith (Gardner, Hinge)
M: Cripps, Fyfe, Bont, Macrae, Neale, Oliver, Treloar, BCrouch (DClarke, Hately, Atley)
R: Gawn, Grundy (ZClarke)
F: Danger, Dunkley, Telly, Marshall, Heeney, JCameron (Parker, Bines)

That fwd and def bench makes me sweat...

Ya got there and you don't go with Blakely which is looking like a master stroke....nice work. (I'm still not able to post in this thread...)
