Team for this week is set. Brought in Gutho despite being underwhelming in recent weeks. Plays at bankwest during the day against an ordinary warriors outfit so can see Gutho putting together a decent score.

Almost last chance saloon for Cody Walker. He’s been a shell of his former self after his horror origin debut. If he doesn’t put together a respectable score I’ll be more than happy to use my last trade to bring in Cleary or Munster for him.

Dropped back to 400 odd last week so hopefully make up the ground I lost this week. Really banking on PODS like DCE, Walker, McInnes and Pangai jnr to score big for me. Tempted to drop Jrbo for a high risk high reward player like Staggs who has a favourable match up against the titans this week. Depends how well I start tonight. Expecting Nikora and SJ to score extremely well tonight. Cowboys left hand edge is extremely weak and pretty inexperienced. SJ and Nikora should combine to wreak havoc against them.

Ended up trading Fifita to Teddy via some DPP switching. Decided to get him first given he was cheaper, lower break even, and lower ownership than Ponga - who I hope to get next week.

Looking for help from those in the know ... should I be fielding out of Dugan or Nikora? I’m thinking Nikora, but I might be dazzled by his 103 last week?

Definitely Nikora. He has combined really nicely on the right with SJ in recent weeks. Cronulla should be sending a lot of traffic down Cowboys left edge tonight given how weak it is, so SJ and Nikora should feature heavily.

Greatly appreciate thoughts on potential moves for this round. Will wait a while longer on RTS to Turbo so Farnworth, Finaucane and Fifita are the only players I'd considered trading this week.

Your going to need cash to do RTS > Turbo, so I'd trade Finucane to Anderson (dpp nuff). The Sharks play tonight so make sure you get Fifita off the field before the game.

Strong side. I’d keep Fifita. He will be on a vengeance when he returns next week after he cost his side the win in NZ last week. I’d look at nuffing Finucane as realistically you’re never going to play him, and then maybe look at trading out Marsters for Ma’u or getting rid of Johnson for Munster.

RTS to Turbo will likely be funded by Naden unless I decide to trade Naden to Mau etc opening up the link with Nikora.

Thoughts on Finucane to Stone/Kerr.

Allows me to switch the selected rookie with Taukeiaho providing cover in both positions in case of multiple injuries/suspensions.
Remaining salary will then be 205,100 or 227,900 with 4 trades left with Naden likely to be traded to a CTW/2RF (either rookie/Mau/etc) to switch with Nikora in conjunction with RTS to T Turbo.

I'd prefer a nuff to be able to take advantage of the VC loophole. So, below are options in the forwards.

FORWARDS:
Keaon Koloamatungi FRF | 2RF (STH | $168,100)
Kayleb Milne FRF | 2RF (MEL | $168,100)
Pasami Saulo FRF | 2RF (NEW | $168,100)

Thanks. Grabbed Saulo and will keep the other available trade along with 264,400.

@Connoisseur - Blake Ferguson just got ruled out indefinitely by Parra. Apparently had a severe reaction to antibiotics in hospital. Must be pretty serious. I’d look at moving him on now.
Greatly appreciate it as I haven't be checking NRL Physio's twitter etc as regularly as earlier in the season. Will look to deal with him next round.

Nikora should update to mid 40’s. Was extremely close to a few attacking stats which would have seen a nice score. Happy with SJ though, decent enough start to the round.

1271 C Teddy

Slight improvement in ranking, but largely treaded water. I did beat Trent Copeland, so that was a nice bonus for the weekend.

Playing Nikora over Gutho and Xerri didn't work out well, and TKO's calf injury cost 20-30 points for him. Staggs or Tevaga would have been the hindsight option. Taking Kerr as a nuff isn't working out too well given that he looks like a fixture in the team now.

1295 saw a slight rise in ranking for me. Now sitting 400ish. Got burnt by TPJ. He’s legitimately got **** for brains. Think I might use my final trade to turn Staggs into Ma’u or Nathan Brown.
