The funds allow but unfortunately TKO is on my FRF and I have no way of getting him to 2RF. I could use 2 trades but only have 3 left.
You could cash in Arthars and bring Bateman or Eisenhuth down to CTW, bring in a non playing DPP FRF/2FR and bring in a Papalli or Klemmer. That would leave you well covered at FRF/2FR and give you cash to go with your last trade to use on an injury or resting for the last two rounds.

Otherwise hold off and use them for injury and/or match ups in the last two weeks.

may have got lucky last night with the VC on Manu Ma'u

tough comp to make ground it, I suspect most teams have been very similar for weeks now , been hovering between 22,000 - 26,000 seemingly for the last 12 weeks
outsmarted myself, forget to check if Tom Amone was playing, yep got his 15 for my captain donut

once again left a high score from my XVII , this time Taumalolo's 101

I would be good at this game if I actually knew what I was doing hahaha

I forgot to look at teamlists this week, so I had taumololo on the pine as well. Somewhat frustrating but fortunately not playing for sheep stations so I can live with it.

I read he was still iffy with his injury , I think I have left a great score outside of my XVII every week so nothing new.

Yep just a bit of fun.

Dropped just 45 places to 13.5k so I guess that was par! I have the luxury of two trades to see out the final round .. Turbo and Munster looking like the two at this stage.

Is NRL like the AFL was a few seasons back ... every man and his dog get rested in the last round?

Everyone missed SJ being a late out, as it was announced by Fox Sports after lockout. Very poor timing on Turbo.

That is a definite possibility with some. Teddy is definitely being spoken about in this regard, and Latrell Mitchell looked sore at the end of the game. Also, whilst some might start, there is the distinct possibility that they sit early in the second half. Cam Smith would have to be a strong candidate for this scenario.

Oh I ended up winning the Supercoach League here!
That's exciting, I actually had a fairly average season and only ranked 2222 (nice number though!)
On my beloved NRL fantasy I came 21st and had a fantastic year!

AFL fantasy I am in the 70,000 and have about 16 trades left, but is the comp even still running?
I don't think I will play again next year, I started so strong but it was just all too much to keep up with that manly players without watching injury news and team changes. Which is a shame after I spent so much time researching a team pre-season.

Anywho, I guess I will see you all in BBL season!

Draft 1 of about a million. Done up before any sort of pre season reading being done.

I’d say as far as rookies go Brailey, Gilbert, Sailor and Best are all just about locks to start. Crossland better than a 50% chance to start and partner Pearce in the halves at Newcastle and Croker’s SuperCoach relevance all depends on Fainu’s court battle though appears it won’t be settled anytime soon. Don’t think there will be as many basement priced rookies debuting round 1 as there were last season so might be a little more difficult in terms of cash generation as opposed to last year which was probably one of the easier years in recent times.

Smith, Haas, Cleary, Papenhuyzen all locks and will not leave my side before round 1. The rest are up for discussion.

1. Who is Gilbert and how is he a lock?
2. After Fifi fell so out of favour last year I don't see him returning to previous heights.
3. Smith may be a good option but there's a lot more competition now. Value like Koro, Fainu, J.Brailey and Robson and to a lesser extent Brittain, Verrilis and Turpin. Then there's Cook!

Gilbert is a young up and coming middle forward at the Cows. Won rookie of the year in QCup last year and his game is made for SuperCoach, an absolute workhorse. Really should have got a debut at the back end of last year. After another full pre season under his belt should force his way into the 17.

Fifita didn’t fall out of favour last year - he was playing with multiple injuries and was nursed through the season. Is still one of the most damaging ball runners in the game who can offload at will and find the line.

Don’t see much value in any of the names you listed to replace Smith. Api Kor won’t play 80, Fainu is on an attempted murder charge and even if he beats that is currently in hospital with a staph infection so will have a delayed start to pre season, J Brailey won’t play 80 and neither will Robson. Britain hasn’t even got a contract with a club for next year so no idea how you plan on including him in your squad. Verrils won’t be in the Roosters starting side and Turpin’s minutes and role will always be questionable as long as Mculloch is in the squad.

Good points. Don't remember Fifi carrying an injury. Thought it was more about the rise of Uele and some of his brain snaps. Brittain has 3 months to find a contract so not worth discounting yet.
