Traded Hopson & Didi to Webster and Rice Jr this week. Needed the funds to get Webster in on Thursday, so I had to do both trades before knowing if Didi was going to play or not.

This weeks line up :

Hampton
Webster
Rice Jr
Kay
Long (C)
Bogut

Bruce
Djeric
Noi
Pineau
JLA

Currently sitting on 271 points after the first 2 games and in 28th Overall. Really happy with the punt on Rice Jr (He's only going to get better and better), but annoyed Didi ended up playing. Really hoping Kay can bounce back and have a huge game as I know a lot traded him out after last weeks effort, even though Kay has the double next week.

Importantly I have a plan for the next 4 weeks to try maximize points in a tricky schedule.

That was a complete joke.

None of that happens if the Ref's had done their job and given Madgen a tech for the flop... They didn't so Hampton stands over Madgen (Which deserves a tech) then Roberson totally escalated things by coming in and pushing Hampton... Once again Ref's dont act quick enough and Hampton gets an unsportsmanlike and ejected.... What a joke.

And to make it worse, the majority of the top 10 don't have Hampton starting so kills me even more.

R6 Score: 582
Rd Rank: 474th
Overall Rank: 41st
On-field: Hampton, Webster, Rice Jr, Kay, Long (C), Bogut,
Bench: Bruce, Djeric, Noi, Pineau, JLA
Trades made: Hopson & Didi --> Rice Jr & Webster

Another really average round. Was forced to trade Didi out on Thursday to be able to fit Webster in, Rice Jr was a good replacement but of course Didi gets over his injury, plays and kills it. If I'd held Didi... I bet he wouldn't have played.

Hampton starting and getting ejected was a massive blow, especially when a lot of teams just started Ball on a single and he went nuts. Both Long and Bogut where very average by their standards. Having the big 3 of Long, Bogut and Kay has really hurt me.

Whilst the overall rank looks good... My team is leaking cash left right and center... Reckon my good run in Fantasy is just about done.

Average round, but the moves I made really have me well setup for next weeks where I assume many will struggle. Didn't want to have to trade Kay, but DJ over next 6-7 rounds is crucial imo and I didn't have much else to do.

Plenty of cash being generated, would expect 100k again from Ball, Drmic, Pineau, Magnay, Didi and solid rises from djeric, Deng at least.

Likely to go Webster and Hampton to Creek and a PG <97k (could risk Dech and pocket some cash or roll the double with Norton/Gibbo). Gives me 4 on the double with Ball and Long starting, hoping cotton and kay stay down.

Really unsure what to do, definitely bringing Creek in for Webster. I need about 100k to facilitate this, considering schedule my best options IMO are Ball - Randle, Hampton - Norton/Dech or Didi - McVeigh. I have DJ, Drmic, Pineau already on the double.

Thinking Hampton - Norton (Perth 4 of next 7 on double), before trading in a Cairns/Bris PG for ball from next week to start. leaves me:

Norton
Creek (C)
Drmic
DJ
Long
Pineau

Ball
Djeric
Didi
Deng
Magnay

plenty of $$ being generated and by trading creek next week I will have the ability to turn he and someone into 2 solid starters from cairns/bullets players for their run of doubles.

On-field: Hampton, Rice Jr, Tate, Long (C), Bogut,
Bench: Roberson, Djeric, Noi, Pineau, Magnay
Trades made: Hopson/Didi --> Rice Jr/Ashley

Like others I felt that was a disappointing round. Tate over Webster 2 weeks back when Didi had his positional change has proven costly. Also Bogut just is not the force he was last season for whatever reason. Trade Didi and he kills it. Hampton on court = bad.

On the positive side - Ashley and Rice Jr were good. Djeric, Pineau and Magnay were great off the bench. Speaking of the bench I now have Djeric my cheapest player almost at $0.6m. Noi and Magnay $750K and Pineau the best cheapie of the season is now at $0.91m. I'd love to get at least 3 of these guys to $1.0m.

This week I am looking at Bogut-->Oliver (prep for next week as Oliver just never seems to go low) and then Tate-->Creek and good riddance to Tate. Roberson and Pineau come off my bench for the double and join Creek. I could get Griffin over Oliver but I think Oliver over 3 games = Griffin over 4. Rice Jr starting over in Perth doesn't fill me with confidence but I'll risk it.

Traded Bogut & Webster to Creek & Drmic.

Already the Drmic trade is looking stupid. Just 18 last night. Expected at least a pair of 30's with the way he has been playing, so needs a big second game this weekend.

Creek had to come in as Captain... So that meant I couldn't afford DJ who went completely nuts last night. So annoying as heaps would have traded him in this week. Kay returning to form was nice though. He needs another big game on Sunday, I'll be at the game so hopefully he is good again.

Poor round for me:

0/117

DGW:
On-field: M Creek, B Cotton (C), E Griffin
Bench: D Pineau, M Majok,

Yet to play:
On-field: L Ball, A Bogut, C Webster
Bench: A Glover, RJ Hampton, G Rice Jr

Disappointed in selecting Cotton over new recruit Creek for the captaincy duties along with a sub par performance from Griffin and now the recently departed K Noi who was traded at the expense of M Creek registering his highest score of the season. Currently fallen to a rank of 583.
