Think he's cooked. Certainly high risk not to play a full season and expect him to struggle to play even half of one.

He’s not really that cheap at 293k.... Roberton seems better if fit

Didn't expect so much love for Dawson, has been in every team posted so far

I notice that no one is keen on Gibbs yet or the Lynch/Buddy combo I like

Doedee has to get a start at 270k doesn't he?

I like Gibbs, Lynch (Tigers version I assume) and Doedee but you cannot fit them all in and you cannot expect them all to turn out okay. And the exit strategy needs to be workable. Not sure about Buddy.

I dont think it’s such a bad price. I was considering him at about $570k last season so if he is fully fit in 2020 then I think he is an option... Granted though I thought he would be closer to $400k so not totally happy either ?

I think at the age of 29 coming off an ACL he's pretty risky at that price. I really thought he'd be 100k cheaper.

8 mil buys these starters, 2 mil for rookies with De Goey able to become a Dawson type backman if the rookies don't show, which they nearly always do in the backs. 50/50 on Macrae vs Danger, thoughts welcome but I already like the discount premiums this year compared to last years.

Not sure about Gibbs and Steven... scored like rookies last year but obviously capable of much better (will they turn it around?) You have gone 6 deep in the mids and I wonder if you would be better off putting another rookie on field and upgrading to a stronger M5 ?

The original team I posted had McCluccage at M6 but now I’ve got Z Williams at D1 and a rookie at M6 instead.

I think with the return of Titch and Danger being made a mid only it’s going to be very difficult to start 6 viable mids, you’re probably going to be better off starting 5 ones you think can go 110+ and leave another 3 spots open.

I’m normally a sucker for him in the $200k region (which is probably a major red flag ... how often can a viable pick start discounted?!) but not at that price after yet another interrupted season. Agree with @Bomber18 re Robertson looking a better pick at this stage.

Good balanced side. Like the Steven type at m6 usually and have a good solid 5 midfielders before him. Would have to kiss goodbye to Gawn and perhaps Robo for that.

I wonder if all of these prices are 100% accurate or if some are still being finalised or need correction. Naismith the Sydney ruckman is at the same price as last year despite not playing a game in 2019.

I don't see Steven and Gibbs likely as keepers but more like stepping stones so not sure about two on the one line. I would be inclined to have Stevens in the fwd line. If he did get to the 100 ave that would be keeper territory in the fwd line but not good enough for the mids.

Like Doedee as a spec pick.

Gibbs has nothing but frustration written all over him as a selection, guy was struggling to be best 22 last year, wouldn't expect SC positional change to help him hold down a regular spot all year.

That will do for a while - I wonder how many I actually start with. Looking for a better season than last for sure.
