I think he's definitely a risky pick because it might just be that age caught up to him earlier than it would for most players but then again it could just be that he had a down year for reasons largely irrelevant of his age or that he will rebound next year and other things were going wrong. Basically it might be that he's on a downward trajectory but you could have reason to believe that he's too young to have dropped of as much as he did last year and other things were wrong with him, including how he was handled by the coaches.
I just think at 375k he's only going to make 100k if he's averaging 90 a game so you'd need to bank on him being a borderline keeper averaging close to 100 for most of the year, a bit like how Brad Crouch was a decent pick given he was so cheap and people picked guys like Matt Crouch and Angus Brayshaw who were far more expensive and didn't score much better than him or scored much worse.

You don't forget how to play. Yes form dips but I really think it was perhaps complacency on Gibbs behalf which led him to being dropped. From there a build up of maybe dinted pride/embarrassment of playing in the 2s added with the media/pressures of not getting back in the snrs.
I think under a new Adelaide FC approach and new coach we'll see a better version Gibbs next year.

Hey PC, think you might be confusing them, as Rowell is the more inside of the two and the a clearance beast.
Anderson is a touch more the Fyfe type, and will be able to come off a forward flank to start his career. Where's Rowell will just be straight in the guts and be an absolute beast with his clearance work and tackling.

Not sure if I'll stick with him, but Ceglar went 110, 83, 94 in the last 3 rounds when he was the sole ruck - McEvoy had 1 hit out across those 3 rounds (from 2 matches), but may just not have been 100% fit. Thinking this might have been Clarko trialling things out for 2020, looking at Ceglar becoming the main ruck this season. I'll try to keep an eye on who is likely to be doing the majority of ruck work prior to the season starting, but I think Ceglar is potentially really good value.
I also ideally will want a R/F player in the forward line with a different bye to Grundy/Gawn for R13, but that's probably not necessary to start with.
