Brandon Ingram is questionable for Monday's game vs. the Pistons with right knee soreness.
He's a late addition to the injury report and there's some concern here since he missed four straight games for the same reason earlier this season. With the Pelicans also without Jrue Holiday (elbow, doubtful) and J.J. Redick (hamstring), E'Twaun Moore and Nickeil Alexander-Walker could emerge with some streaming value in the short term. Josh Hart gets a bump too.
Karl-Anthony Towns (left knee sprain, illness) will not play on Monday vs. the Thunder.
Frustrating. This comes just hours after we got a positive report about his knee, as Jon Krawczysnki of The Athletic said that KAT is "nearing a return." There's apparently a nasty bug going around the locker room, and KAT wasn't even able to attend shootaround. His next chance to play will be on Wednesday vs. the Pacers, and he will almost certainly be listed as questionable again. The Gorgui Dieng show rolls on for now.
Clint Capela (heel) will play on Tuesday vs. Memphis.
While it's a relief to see Capela back in the lineup, Tuesday's game is the front end of a back-to-back which means it's not a lock that Capela will also play on Wednesday vs. Portland. Isaiah Hartenstein loses his streaming appeal for Tuesday but he's a no-brainer plug and play if Capela misses any time going forward.
Daniel Gafford (sprained left ankle) will start on Monday vs. the Celtics.
The rookie was listed as probable with the ankle tweak he's been managing but his status for tonight wasn't in any doubt. He had 14 points, seven rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 23 minutes during his last outing and will be a viable streamer for as long as Wendell Carter Jr. (ankle) is out.
