The plan was (is) to start 7-8 season long keepers , 8 onfield upgrades to make and to trade around the other players to create $$$.

With the real possibility of a cancelled season , decided to start Fyfe & Sloane for fun.

No Steven , was wary about Brayshaw after his foot surgery so decided on Jack for some fun.

Once Naismith was named sole ruck , I thought I would take the punt at R2 (was going to have him at R3 & Nice Nat at R2) which then allowed "spare cash" for Heeney & Greene up forward and Laird & Sicily down back , at one stage I contemplated a Docherty - Roberton - 6 rookies in defence (dodged a massive bullet thus far)

Just have to see how it all works out for Round 1 , then play the waiting game for future rounds

I decided 2 weeks ago I was going to bet against Roberton. I had cash leftover, and thought, with a lack of decent looking Def Rookies, at least he had JS, so the very last move in my team, was to upgrade a Def Rookie to Roberton.


On a side note, if Cunnington's stats were worth 175, then Neale is a good chance to go 200 today!!!

We were all wondering if Grundy/Gawn could maintain their scoring. I don't think anyone considered that most tap Rucks would catch them from behind!

What a season. We're playing a totally different game this year, by the look of it.
