My team did evolve over the course of the weekend trying to folow the points but I'll admit I got it wrong and long term, if there is a long term, I've done some damage.

Roberton I always had a sick feeling about, not sure the shorter games suited picks like Houston and Smith, was keen to have Hurn in my team but because I wanted a 5 premium midfield and Ceglar in forwards he was one I culled. I had Gawn also at R2 with Naismith at R3 just to watch, with Naismith scoring well I freed up the cash for Ceglar. Brayshaw was ordinary early, but from the sounds of it was okay late in the game so might be a watch. Yeo had 7 frees against, wasn't one I was keen on but didn't like any other options.

Not sure on trades, will look at this in a few months.

Score 2180 - Ranked 18,179

I benched Ceglar to get Sturt's 100 pts (bird in the hand thinking).
Roberton is a worry, obviously the first in line to trade out.
Dawson was selected to help future tradings with his dual position, but if he doesn't average in the 90s, then he will have to go.
Gawn was picked for the long term. Not sure to chase Naismith's -25 breakeven?
Dangerfield was picked for the long term, so he won't be facing De Boer again.

Team posted , but made 2 changes after horrible start
Patton to Sturt and Robertson to Howe , made a blunder changing Noble to Mcasey ( Will change ) and didn't change Robertson to McInerney in time b4 start of game and would change Caverra back to Rankine
Bont will be back so back him in , i think i'm safe ???? with the others at this time

Bench in mids could be a worry none could play rd2 with Ward and co back and the def on field could be some trouble with Ambrose/Hooker and if Starc/Brander hold spots.

Appreciate your thoughts Kidult , i intend to trade Mcasey back to Noble and Robertson to McInerney , Budarick i think will still get games and make some cash , i guess Green is the iffy one although they have big wraps for the kid , Tyler Brown will get more games , Buckley is really impressed with his work ethic and his presence at contests , as long as he keeps mooing on the bench / field he'll do for a while.
With Brander he's a multi position player so i think he'll get lots of games at WC unless he mucks up of course and Starc can sit on the bench he may be in and out a bit
Good luck for the season when it starts and stay safe
