So

* you can't high 5
* but you can tackle and hold
* and you have to sit 1.5 m away from each other on the bench

* liked the crowd noise
* hate the umpires even more

* but no targets to kick the ball long too

* and actually starting to like Maynard

no idea what is wrong with me ?

now to see what selection carnage is in my team
I've decided that the inaccurate kicking was due to the fact none of the players could share balls during practice and had to chase their own after they kicked them each time reducing their practice time. :geek::poop:

Seems quite hilarious that cricket are meant to be going through the rigmarole of not using spit and saliva when all sorts of fluids would go through the Sherrin that's shared by 44 players (oh and several umpires).

Have to disagree, thought it was a great game to watch, the intensity and pressure was right up there and it finished in a well deserved draw. Doesn't have to be high scoring to be enjoyable. Actually thought the crowd noise added to the game imo (might be one of only a few who feel this way - but footy's back so not much more I could ask for).
I enjoyed it also, was certainly much better than last weeks game

Looks like I have lost (so far)

BZT , Roberton
Mahony
Naismith , Williams

wait for tomorrow's final sides re Cavarra , Green , McInerney

surprised Budarick & Starcevich survived

Roberton missing was unexpected and might need a rethought

lots of options , just got to pick the right ones

can't see T Brown lasting much longer and Noble looks out of his depth at this level

thinking Bennell is just a opportunity waiting to be taken , if it doesn't pay off so what , if it works be dancing all the way to the ?

EDIT

Glad in a way we know the status of Georgiades & Sturt early

Quality contributions from Dusty, Pickett, De Goey and Noble (y)

I might've actually been onto something picking De Goey. It was just a hunch based on short quarters and x factor types but he's around stoppages a lot and getting involved. Problem is he's not getting stats, not kicking goals and his DE is terrible. If only they awarded points for getting tackled with the ball.

I'm also reminded of why I didn't want to pick Noble, he's too much of a panic merchant under any pressure at the moment. Played that James Aish role perfectly tonight.

Interesting to see 4 "hero's" from Round one Omitted - Fort, Georgiades, Naismith, Sturt. I don't have any of them and they made a bit of difference to my comparative performance in Round 1 (not ALL of the difference, but at least some of it :cautious: )
It really is pretty remarkable and people who ultimately assessed the Naismith and Fort risks pretty correctly got penalized in week 1.
There is some advantage in not having to worry about them this week, I guess, and Sturt / Georgiades / Cavarra / King / decisions have a rookie roulette component in the early rounds.
Think the week to week fluctuations are going to be pretty high this year.

1 trade down for a 40 pt loss (Lynch to Cameron). Hopefully the 260K makes up for it on other trades, but not confident.

4/271 (Martin, Short, Cameron, Noble). 37 for Pickett I can hopefully leave on the bench.
