Quality contributions from Dusty, Pickett, De Goey and Noble (y)

I might've actually been onto something picking De Goey. It was just a hunch based on short quarters and x factor types but he's around stoppages a lot and getting involved. Problem is he's not getting stats, not kicking goals and his DE is terrible. If only they awarded points for getting tackled with the ball.

I'm also reminded of why I didn't want to pick Noble, he's too much of a panic merchant under any pressure at the moment. Played that James Aish role perfectly tonight.
He's just not a midfielder getting pretty tired of bucks thinking he's the next dusty. The guy is absolutely elite on the lead out of the goal square he's 190cm and difficult to stop overhead but he struggles to use the ball properly or find it enough in the midfield and it hurts the team because he's a match winner when on song up forward, plus his defensive awareness at stoppages is shocking. Dusty was already an elite mid at the same age De Goey is, just struggled with his tank. Probably won't ever be a good sc scorer would look to move him on if he continues in this role.

The optimistic take is that he's around the ball and isn't far off figuring it out.

But yeah that's probably not the case. Seems to be in the wrong spot a lot and only runs forward out of stoppages. Unlike Dusty he doesn't seem to end up in dangerous positions when he does so either. Without De Goey Mihocek's your only lead up target. Elliot should be able to provide that too but I hardly noticed him.

Adams nicely done ✅
Took a punt against the tiges midfield who usually give up plenty of pts. Great score but in hindsight Howe was the better option at 100k cheaper. Can't win them all and not the worst result but something tells me that 100k would've come in handy with my remaining 3 trades (which im yet to decide on),

4/272 Grundy VC

Pretty unspectacular night for me with Noble, Dusty and Pickett not lighting it up. The last part of the game helped Noble and Dusty get a dozen extra points each, so it could have been much worse.

Thinking I will forgo Grundy's VC score and go with Neale and hope he has a big one.

3/264 Grundy vc, Crisp and Noble onfield, missed the last half. Pies looked good up to quarter time, had Pickett and Brown on the bench. Have 4 trades to consider tomorrow. I can see us burning trades swapping rookies each week when they're being used as rotations.

6/476, considering using Grundy as C
Grundy, Short, Noble, Howe, Pickett, Dusty. Have E on Brown but might throw Budarick in not that I am expecting a vastly different result.
