Taranto v Coniglio v Merrett v Bont ? Unfortunately cannot afford my first preference in Fyfe

I would probably be looking at one of the GWS players as my preference, as they have a relatively easy draw from here and have had their bye. Cogs seems a bit more consistent to Taranto to me, so he would be my choice of the four listed.

Wicks vs Bytel?

Bytel had 18 disposals, Wicks only had 9 but had 6 tackles which is why they ended up on a pretty similar score.
Who has better JS?

I rate them all very, very similarly in terms of scoring potential. I would chop Bont from the equation as his bye is still to come. As for the other three, toss a three-sided coin ;)

If this helps at all, I feel like Coniglio is the safest play. Highest ownership and possibly the most consistent. I rate Taranto and Merrett higher at this point of the season because they are PODs and with huge upside. Merrett seems to have the higher ceiling.

It's hard to say who will do better, but I would go by weight of numbers and say Bytel.

Both clubs have a few injuries, so they should have some JS. Sydney has gone through 6 mid rookies this season, Saints 2, so again Bytel has the edge here.

Problem is Sydney will definitely be playing in R14, but it's not certain yet whether Saints will...
Good point, I figure most people aren't bringing rookies in now to play on field. Might hurt his cash gen a bit with a R14 bye.

Fair point, but they might help in a best 18 scenario if Brisbane, WBD and Geelong all share a bye...

Crap just realised I have to pick between Wicks and Bytel this eve...

I see the discussion above but am no closer to an answer! Anyone feel strongly? Seems like the both have there positives and negatives:

Bytel:

+ got a lot of the ball
+ will play in wins
- might get pushed out of team

Wicks:

- didn't get a huge amount
+ still scored well through great pressure
+ swans should play kids

Who to get first Lloyd or Zac Attack
Lloyd will likely score a bit better, but if you want Williams, now is the time to get him. Get Zac first.

I did answer above. I prefer Bytel slightly, but will be getting both. Wicks will hopefully be an equally good choice.

Woodcock (139K) vs Sholl (155K)

If I pass on Sholl, I will need another defender rookie to emerge either later this round or next round for a Noble downgrade. Will anyone else pop up? Will Gould maybe?

Someone will pop up, can't guarantee how good they will be. Gould is looking unlikely, but may get picked - Swans have played a lot of rookies.

Prefer Woody. If he doesn't suit your team though, weigh up if it's worth getting Sholl or not. No DPP possibilities?

Na my DPP is limited unfortunately - I have Brander D/F in defence and no other defence DPPs in the rest of my side. So I will need a defender if I want to trade Noble.

The 17k saved choosing Woodcock over Sholl could be important if Fyfe (who I want to bring in next week) scores over 150 this week.

Gawn to who if we get extra trades.
Big O has Goldy and Grundy b2b but can swing fwd later.
Goldy has Big O but then Grundy and Witts and a bye. (Scenario of Gawn missing more)
Naitanui had his bye but potential of a rest but also has a pretty easy fixture up until 17-18.

or left field and hope Draper is named as cover and bring in Ridley/Oliver.

I doubt any ruck will score as well as peak Gawn does. I brought in Naitanui last round, mainly as the best bye-free option. Didn't expect the Eagles to get such a cramped fixture, he will get rested at some point. McInerney with fwd DPP almost looks a better option to me.

I guess it depends if you plan on bringing Gawn back in. If so, running Draper at R2 and upgrading elsewhere could work. Could easily lose 40-50 pts per rd based on current scoring with this strategy, so the upgrade would need to make that up to break even. That could be tough.

Just said on the news it's usually 3-4 weeks minimum for a PCL, so I think you need to trade him. I still think Naitanui is the best option, but there's definitely plenty of choices.

Gawn injury around 1 min in:
