Nice idea do you think he has turned a corner?

But Essendon are.. (how do I say this) beyond awful?
The forward cupboard looks pretty bare for the remainder of the year. He's not much of a supercoacher but he has a decent role. Depends on your team but it might be that a poor mid to a premo mid might be a better trade than a rookie F6 to a so so forward keeper. Especially with 3 best 18 rounds to come. For example Duncan or Yeo to Oliver could be a better upgrade than Rankine to Parish or Simpkin.

I think you have summed it up well. Lloyd is clearly scoring better, but you are paying for it. It's going to be team dependent which is better for you. I'm not seeing a lot of good options in the forward line, so to get the extra cash there for a top line forward it sounds like it is probably worth taking Ridley.
Thought I might play around with this a bit more and add Ryan into the mix.
Looking at the current price and 5rd/avg and trying to work out bang for buck.
Whitfield + Ryan instead of Ridley looks a good balance for the extra cash spent.
Greenwood + Lloyd looks to be overpriced.

out of Foot, Honey and the new West Coast rookie(forgot his name) who do you think ill get the most out of? All have had byes, all scored about 55 (except honey), looking to replace aarts with one of these three.

P.S don't know if this the right thread for this kind of question

It will be interesting to see after price changes for these players. Ryan is in good form, might be a better option to Lloyd based on price, one that I am considering too (need to replace Sic).

It's a good thread for it, but I will let you know in advance, I'm not the best one to listen to for player advice based on how I am doing this year. Maybe the Rookie Roulette topic is the better one for rookie options, but here is fine.

I think your team needs better advice than what I can provide, however if you are downgrading Aarts, I suggest go for a cheap option and field Woodcock instead of your Aarts replacement. Hopefully Close will be back next round too so you won't need to rely on this newly traded in player's score if they struggle - I don't really rate any of the three you listed as reliable scorers. Reid is as cheap as you can get, so he would be my suggestion for who to bring in personally.

Freo on the road again though , doesn't that put a query on Ryan's scores ?

You wouldn't happen to have a breakdown of Ryan's H and A averages for this season ?

If not I can calculate myself later.

Last midfielder:

Fyfe vs Titch?
Generally I would suggest staying well away from any Hawk, but Titch is the one possible exception. He hasn't got a lot of competition for points, Sicily and O'Meara out are big blows. Think the Hawks are going to go further downhill over coming games, if that's possible.

Fyfe on the other hand gets played forward too much and it probably cost them the game on the weekend. Not what you want to see if you select him.

Titch for me. Think he may have to step up, but there's a chance he goes the other way too with the club possibly being better off if they don't win games.

Yes, I picked Fyfe last week in this X v Y. I have changed my mind after the weekend.

whilst Foot didn't scream pick me, think he is the best of the lot. Swans more likely to play the kids.

some thought Honey looked ok however with his score, no thanks.

Reid play a half forward role where there could a number of options. Benefits from redden/yeo injured so players like Sheed will play mids (already in that role pre injuries). DE average at 50%, similar to Ah Chee, kicked a goal and was playing the Hawks. could easily be a 30 player and out the door would be the concern.
