Strategy Round 15: Trades

I've currently got Bell on my Fwd bench, with Schoenberg and Wicks on my Mid bench.
With Riccardi, I'd swing Bell into the mids, and have Riccardi as cover fwd.
So not essential, possibly hand for a loop. Might have a closer look at GWSs draw and possibilities for looping.
Otherwise Bell would stay forward and the donut would be on the mid bench. Brisbane's C.Lyons $104k. Brisbane late games every round.
I guess with the volatility of rookies and the schedule it might be good to have extra cover with Riccardi... but the extra cash could be handy in certain situations! Ah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lloyd, Williams, Docherty, Hurn, Brander, Rivers, ( Stewart, Daniel)
Neale, Mitchell, Merrett, Cripps, Gaff, T Kelly, Wicks, ( Dangerfield, Simpson, Bytel)
Grundy, Draper, ( Comben)
Whitfield, D Martin, Walters, Greene, J Martin, Riccardi, (Balta, Bell)
Was going to hold trades this week with 22 on field, Brander dropped and still felt the same but looked further as Balta on the bench seems a waste.
So looking at Simpson out, J Martin to mids and Wicks to bench, Balta on field and maybe McQuillan of Essendon $ 102,400 D/F to open a link with Brander.
Not a fan of trading in a donut at any time especially this late in the season but this one gets another probable best 18 player on the ground with a rookie to the bench and gives me a cash injection to probably go Grundy to Gawn next week with the plan to go Draper to Grundy the week after.

Does anyone else think a Tim Kelly hot streak might be on the cards to finish the year? 448k, higher ceiling than Gaff and Shuey (has a 140 and a 150 this season). That still adds up to half his games being under 100 though. His draw to end the season is highly tempting IF the Eagles can handle QLD better than they did last time.

Generally we rely on a collective effort each week despite the high quality of the players in the middle. Usually a different mid steps up each week. So we don't have a reliance on 1 certain mid to standout every week like some teams do.
One thing to keep in mind is with Jamie Cripps out for a while due to the baby/quarantine issues... Tim Kelly might be asked to do more time on the HFF in Cripps' spot, as Kelly is good in the forward half and can hit the scoreboard. So maybe less midfield time but more goals.
