I wouldn’t be tipping the Beasts if I were you.

Riccardi out meant that Close and his 36 was required. This move was made to avoid a donut if J Martin misses.

If the benched J Martin does play, you will hear an echoing scream in SA that has come all the way from Geelong.
Didn’t you read Jack’s intro. With the odds stacked against you, you’re now in the box seat! :ROFLMAO:

On a side note, how good of a pick has J Martin been (not).

53 point Quarter to May there, helping the Horses.
Any score updates on how the matches are looking, maybe with projected's as well?

Danger’s score as a POD has hurt and haven’t quite been able to recover. GG well in front and has May and JKelly going big too. Looking like a GG v THCLT showdown

The benching of Doch by BB to get Rivers score was quite a nice little move.

Nah you've won this for sure. 100% you've got me. Bont has ended me.
Hmm I see... I just assumed I was cooked as Wingard has really hurt me....

I guess Parker and Lloyd might be able to save me, but they’ll have their work cut out as you already have the points on the board

Nah it's as good as over hahaha. Heaps of points still to be handed out of which I wouldn't be surprised if Bont picks up another 10-15 of.

You're in the box seat for next week as well mate.

We’re both pretty pessimistic with these things haha. I actually was thinking this whole time you are in the box seat!

Gee some of these matchups have been a real rollercoaster ride....! It’s set up for a cracking finish tomorrow!

After I already conceded defeat with Wingard’s stinker and Sholl’s big score, Parker and Bont stepped up in a big way and have left 61 for Greenwood to get. Injury or late withdrawal or a tag could strike though, can’t rule out anything this round after so many bullets.

Classic duel between Miller v Grundy in the other matchup between THCLT v BB, after the shrewed Rivers loop from
BB and infuriating Doch injury completely swung the momentum of the matchup.

That was all about the case of who had a non-playing DEF to loop which I didn't. Balance things out a bit for our matchup as Ben had JMartin to deal with as well. His Close (36) to my Dochery (13) may well seal the deal for his Beasts.

Both our teams will be on 1 leg and 1 arm come the GF so we're ripe for the taking so use your 2 trades wisely...;)

Yeah for sure...! You were too well covered in the end...

I myself had options to trade Draper into a mid to get Rivers as a Def E, but didn’t take them before BWilliams locked out...

I’ll take credit for maybe giving a little push to Ben towards the decision to play Close over the JMartin donut :p

Didn’t think it at the time but those 36 points could prove crucial.

I switched between Martin and Close about 10 times and finally locked in Close just 30 seconds before lockout..

How Close has he made it...!

I’ll see myself out
There was Acres of paddock for his Beasts to roam instead of taking a Wingard action for the round...
