Greatly appreciate any recommendations for the use of my final 4 trades.
This is what I would do in your situation.

GC contender will likely dominate most of the remaining stages.

Trade Alaphilippe to another leader who is high in GC and looking strong. Not having jumped on Bernal gives you an edge now. Look at other high placed GC contenders that are not leaders and see if they are worth getting in. Stage 19 could be a Sagan stage so consider holding him. Sprinters (including Sagan) will be high stage finishers in the final stage so conserving a trade to get at least one more in could be worth it however that is only 1 stage against probably 4 where GC contenders will likely score high. Depends what GC contenders you can get will decide that. Finally just be conscious of the bonus points available to your team after the final stage.

Good luck with it.

I just traded in Kwiatkowski as a bit of a hail mary, on the assumption he will go for a stage win now that there's no point looking after Bernal. He should also do well in the time trial for stage 20. Hirschi is the other one with an obvious chance tonight. I would save 2 to get Bennett and another sprinter before stage 19. Sagan and Skujins out would get you Kwiatkowski and Hirschi, and would probably be my trades.

Thanks for the options.

Would you consider trading of W Van Aert for M Landa Meana via Skujins to cheap rider, or is it not worthwhile?

Personally I'd prefer to try to get two possible scorers in, and for that reason would rather trade out Sagan than Van Aert.

FWIW I would probably prefer Richie Porte to Landa Meana for similar value reasons, plus his likely scoring on the time trial stage.

Pello Bilbao is 12 and has a sneaky shot at a breakaway win tonight or stage 18 I reckon. You could get Porte and him in for Sagan and Skujins.

EDIT: Rolland is another cheapie (10) who is current favourite for KOM jersey (albeit an open field) who would notch up a decent score over the next few rounds if he managed to get it.

I would consider it but not sure if I would pull the trigger. There are a number of stages where Van Aert could finish high including tonight. Trouble is he isn’t always going for the stage wins. Stage 19 which suits Sagan also suits Van Aert. Van Aert could also challenge on final stage. I would trade Alaphilippe before I trade Van Aert. Having said that Alaphillipe could be a chance tonight as well.

Thanks again.

How about trading both members of Bora-Hansgrohe (P Sagan and L Kamna) for R Porte and M Hirschi.

2 trades left to grab P Sagan back for Stage 19.

Oh yea - my bad for suggesting Porte in without Alaphilippe out. Hmm it's tough. My only advice - do it quick! You've got five minutes left.
Doing nothing tonight is not the worst option either.
Done.
Out: J Alaphillipe and L Kamna
In: R Porte and M Hirschi

Means Alaphillipe will win multiple stages on the run home and Porte will suffer a tour ending injury. ;)

I think Alaphillipe may do alright in tonight's stage. Wouldn't surprise me if he could win this one.

Not sure if you are watching, both riders you traded out are in the breakaway tonight. :p

Gaudu has withdrawn which is bad news for a couple here.
