Do people think the current ownership numbers are accurate?

At first glance I didn't think so but given that you'd think only die-hard supercoaches make a team with Gold / day 1 then perhaps they are.

Interesting nonetheless.

Cockatoo is now 60% ownership which is about normal for the top picked players.

Lloyd has dropped to 6th at 50.2%

Matt Rowell up to 5th and Williams is 10th at 42%

Lloyd could be an avoid at that ownership. Betting against some of these guys is the bigger POD play sometimes.
Unless Lloyd beats his average, he isn't going to hurt you, unless the alternative player turns out to be a relative underperformed or is not a top 6-8 player. This is assuming you have a Neale Gawn Grudy who deliver capt scores. The $150k difference to a 500k defender may allow though to upgrade a Heppell to a Cripps, or a Cripps to an Olivier/Neale, improving that position assuming they deliver.

Thought this thread was the better place to post, if not then mods please move.

Got a bit of a dilemma, posted in the 'Rate my Team' thread that I'm running with Lloyd, Neale and Gawndy with a 3-6-2-3 having Zilliams at D3, Taranto M6 and Bolton F3. In the mids I have Walsh, Dusty (to go forward) Rowell and Taranto and thinking that I have M1-2 covered and M6-8 likewise. Leaving me to fill M3-5 with players 600k+ which is going to be a real struggle as I see those players as the core of the midfield.

Ideally I'd like to keep the same structure but populate M1-M5 with those higher priced players and then recruit M6-M8 with the players that have fallen to a price that makes them affordable. There would be an opportunity cost through losing those value players that I have now, but probably balanced by not having to recruit those 600k+ guys.

ATS it seems that the only real option is to trade Gawn > Preuss which I don't really want to do particularly considering Pruess's first 4 games.

Anyone got any ideas?
Hickey has a good first 7 games and $40k cheaper. He has still shown in the last 2 years when given a chance he can post a big spike score.

Yeah I think at that ownership there’s more to gain than lose with Lloyd. Same argument can be made about Neale and Gawn just depends on how you think the will score, especially early on.

Interesting the different ownerships above, I am on a web browser on a laptop and have checked a few times
Yeah, sorry was just trying to get second image small enough to post! Ownership moved fast once non gold owners lists entered.

Managed to get both sets of data by screenshotting before app updated!

Incredibly sad mate. I have been a massive fan of him, hoped he might stay and reckon the only way I can keep sane while he kills it at Brizzy is if he’s in my SC side. No ill feelings, truly hope he can perform again. Bargain in SC if so. Likely starter for me.

The Ruck part could well make him worth it. Don't think I have ever seen Hipwood in the ruck.
